Student answer (Band 5.5)

in the contemporary societ clean water has become a considerable debate.some individulas believe that approach to pure water is a main fundamental right.therefore each acomodation should have a water delivery that is granted free of cost. I firmly agree with this view because water is a basic need in daily life of every citizen and clean water is the reasone for survival of healthy life.

The reason why i support this idea because every single individula can not survive without clean water.our adminstrations want to supply free water to every residental area without reciving payment. For instance poor peoples cannot pay the water charges because water use in huge litters on daily bases. Furthermore our governments should implement hand pumps, so that every one can easily get clean water because transport of free water can lead toward the ecnomic loss, andcreat noice pollution by fule consumption.

Another compelling reason is that clean water secure the health risk because wtaer provided by governments that pass by diffrent filtration process so this water must be free of cost by our admanistrations to minimise health diseases that comes frome unfiltered wate in form of bacteria. For example, when water tranfer to the homes, initially it transfer into filtration processso that no one one can afford this process or no one can use unfiltere water.

In conclusion, water is the need of every human being so that it should be provided into free of cost form, by this we can easily afraid from disease and secure money.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the introduction: you firmly agree that households should receive clean water without charge. You give relevant reasons, including that water is essential for survival, that poorer people may struggle to pay, and that treated water can reduce health risks. The examples of government filtration and access to water help address the task. However, some points are not fully explained or are unclear: the suggestion to use hand pumps is linked to transport costs and pollution, but its practical relevance to a free household supply needs clarification. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a specific example, and address how governments could fund or manage free provision. This would make the argument more fully supported.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons, and a conclusion. The progression from affordability to health is logical, and signposts such as “Furthermore,” “Another compelling reason,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the argument. However, some connections between ideas are difficult to follow. For example, the hand-pump proposal is joined to claims about economic loss and noise pollution without clearly showing how these points support free household water. Some sentences also contain several ideas that would be clearer if separated and linked more precisely. Use referencing carefully, and make each paragraph develop one main point in a clear sequence rather than relying mainly on transition phrases.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “filtration process,” “water charges,” “health diseases,” and “noise pollution,” and you use some topic-specific language to explain your position. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning difficult to understand, as in “accomodation,” “wtaer,” “admanistrations,” and “afraid from disease.” Several expressions are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “clean water is the reasone for survival of healthy life” and “water use in huge litters.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. A more controlled range of precise terms would make your ideas easier to understand and sound more academic.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple sentences and attempts at more complex structures, including “because” clauses and a purpose clause beginning “so that.” This gives the response some variety. However, errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation occur across the essay and sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “The reason why i support this idea because” lacks a complete grammatical structure, while “clean water secure the health risk” has problems with subject–verb agreement and sentence meaning. Capitalisation and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “societ clean water” and the run-on after “clean water.” Practise building accurate sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
