Student answer (Band 5.0)

Answer: Aorund 2.5% of all the water is clean and fresh water. Every human has a right to drink clean water. It is basic human right to access clean water. I agree with this statement, In the forthcoming paragraph i will argue on this statement.

Firstly water is basic need of human. Human cannot live without water so it is basic human right to access clean water. Water should be easily accessable and free of charge. Becuase there is a large number of people who live hand to mouth so it is very difficult to them to pay for clean water.

Firstly due to pollution there is a large number of quantity of water is wasted. Poor people are helpless and out of reach from clear water. They are forced to drink polluted water. That cause a numorous disease. People faced many health issues due to polluted water.

Secondly, Clean water is basic human right. Therefore every home should have water supply that is provided free of cost. The wastage and hamrful chamecal do not throw in the river and clean water.

There should be developed a plant that clean polluted water free of cost.

Government invest in a water plants that clean water and supply to every area of country. That anybody can be free form health issues.

People should not throw garbage on river and lakes and make environment clean. Industries make other ways to throw there wastage.

So if we make our environment clean and coorporate with government than evry human can get his/her basic human rights.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you agree that clean water should be available to everyone without charge, and you give relevant reasons, including poverty, illness caused by polluted water, and government investment in treatment plants. However, the response only partially develops the task. It moves between free household supply, access to clean water, pollution prevention, and treating polluted water without explaining how these points support the specific proposal that every home receive water free of charge. For example, the claim that poor people struggle to pay is relevant, but it needs a concrete explanation or example. The opening also promises an argument rather than presenting a developed overview. Explain how free provision could be funded and address a possible concern, such as cost or waste, to make the argument more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an identifiable beginning, a series of supporting points, and a concluding sentence, so the reader can follow its general topic. However, progression between ideas is weak and the paragraphing does not clearly group the argument. “Firstly” is used twice, while “Secondly” introduces a point that largely repeats the claim that clean water is a right. The discussion then shifts abruptly from polluted water and disease to treatment plants, industrial waste, and individual behaviour. Some links are unclear, as in “The wastage and harmful chemical do not throw in the river and clean water.” Organise the essay into distinct paragraphs—for example, affordability, health consequences, and practical provision—and use linking phrases to show how each point supports your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “pollution,” “polluted water,” “health issues,” and “water plants,” and the main subject remains understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or imprecise, sometimes making the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “a large number of quantity of water is wasted,” “out of reach from clear water,” and “coorporate with government.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “accessable,” “numorous,” “hamrful,” and “evry.” Build a more precise set of expressions for discussing water access, treatment, and public funding, and check spelling carefully. Using accurate phrases such as “water-treatment facilities” and “afford clean water” would make your argument clearer and more natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

Most sentences use basic structures, and you attempt to connect ideas with clauses, as in “Because there is a large number of people who live hand to mouth so it is very difficult to them to pay.” However, this construction is faulty: “because” and “so” should not be used together this way, and the sentence needs a clearer grammatical structure. Errors in agreement and sentence formation also occur in “there is a large number of quantity of water is wasted” and “That cause a numorous disease.” Articles, verb forms, and punctuation are inconsistent; for instance, “It is basic human right” needs an article, and the comma after “statement” creates a punctuation problem. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries.
