Student answer (Band 5.5)
There are many serious concerns about clean water supply in many countries. Clean water is really important factor of human daily life. And every home ought to be provided a free water supply without charging them for their basic rights. I totally agree with the statement because access to clean water is a basic human right which should be provided by the government.
Firstly, I will be talking about the basic human rights. In many countries there is no supplies resources of clean water from which they get water for their daily use. Which cause a lot of disease in their area such as Diarrhea, Typhoid, Cholera and many more. For example take the countries like Pakistan, India and Somalia there is huge shortage of clean water due to which there are a large number of people affected by diseases like typhod and diarrhea. For that reasons everyone needs clean water for their daily use.
Furthermore, there are a lot of rural areas in the countries. Mentioned above that are not have a water supply at all whether its clean or dirty. In these countries most of the people to the mountains to bring some water for their daily use like drinking or cooking purpose. The second option they have is to store the rain water safely and then use it for their needs. For instance in pakistan and india people arrange a huge pipes on their roof which gather the rain water at one point and their they place a big drum and the water store there.
In conclusion, I would says access to clean and safe water for daily life is a basic right of every human. And the supply to clean water should be free for everyone beacausse their are people can not afford bread for their daily life how can be they paying for clean water as well. So government ought to take serious action about this issue and provide clean useful water to every home.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you totally agree that clean water is a basic right and should be supplied free by government. You address the central issue and give relevant support, including disease risks and the difficulty rural residents face in obtaining water. The examples of water collection and rainwater storage help make the discussion concrete. This meets the task well, though the argument is not equally developed throughout: the first body paragraph lists diseases and countries but does not explain how free household provision would address the problem, while the second focuses more on lack of access than on whether supply should be free. To strengthen the response further, explain the practical case for free provision and develop each example more precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally move from health concerns to rural access. Signposts such as “Firstly,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” make the stages easy to identify. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and some links between sentences are unclear. For example, “Which cause a lot of disease” is a fragment whose connection to the preceding sentence needs to be made explicit. “Mentioned above” also refers unclearly to the countries, and the second paragraph shifts from free supply to water collection without a clear transition. Use complete sentences and clearer referencing, and connect each paragraph’s examples directly to your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “basic human right,” “shortage of clean water,” “rural areas” and “rain water.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, which sometimes makes the meaning less precise. For instance, “no supplies resources” and “people to the mountains to bring some water” are difficult to interpret, while “clean useful water” is not a natural description. Spelling errors such as “typhod,” “beacausse” and “their” for “there” also affect accuracy. Build a more precise range for discussing access, provision and affordability, and check spelling and common word combinations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, control is inconsistent: several attempted structures are faulty, and errors in sentence boundaries, agreement and verb forms sometimes make the reader work to understand the point. For example, “Which cause a lot of disease” is an incomplete sentence, “there is no supplies” has an agreement problem, and “I would says” uses the wrong verb form. The sentence beginning “Furthermore” also contains a difficult construction: “most of the people to the mountains to bring some water.” Practise forming complete clauses and checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms. More accurate control of these patterns would make your argument clearer.
