Student answer (Band 5.5)
Clean water is very essential for every of the living organisms on earth. The first and formost right of humans is their access to pure and clean water. The authorities should provide every home with water supply that is fully free of cost. I will explain wheather I agree or disagree with this context or not.
To commence, I want to say that I am totally agree to this statement that clean water is very crucial for the survival of humans beings and as well as for other living organisms. Water is use in our everyday lives. It is being used in our cooking,in agriculture and for washing dishes an as well as clothings. First of all, if the water we use in our cooking is not pure it may harm our immune and as well as our digestive system. It may lead us to many contaminated diseases such as Cholera, Typhoid fever, Dysentery and Hepatitis. These are very chronic diseases and can be fetal. Additionally, if the water in not pure in our agriculture it may lead to an increase in algae on the surface of water. In result, it lower the amount of oxygen in water and kill the fishes in the water. In result, we may face shortage of food. Furthermore, the water in the ocean and sea is very salty. It requires filtration pump to remove salt from it.
Secondally, it is the responsibilites of the state to provide every home of the country with water supply so that these consequences may not suffer by the citizens.
To put it in a nutshell, I want to say that pure water is very crucial for our survival. Pure water is very beneficial to our health. Therefore, the possible solution must be made to make water pure.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear in the introduction: you agree that households should receive clean water free of charge, and you give relevant reasons about health and the effects of polluted water. The examples of diseases and harm to aquatic life show an attempt to support your view. However, the response only partly develops the central claim about free provision. Much of the first body paragraph explains why clean water matters, rather than why it should be free, and the second paragraph asserts that this is the state’s responsibility without explaining how free supply could be funded or why charging is unfair. The conclusion also shifts to making water pure, rather than restating the case for free household access. Develop these links to the question more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the sequence from the importance of clean water to government responsibility is broadly understandable. Linking phrases such as “To commence,” “Additionally” and “Furthermore” help signal movement between points. However, progression is uneven: the first body paragraph contains several different topics—cooking, disease, agriculture, algae, food shortages and desalination—without clearly connecting them to free household supply. “In result” is repeated, and the second body paragraph is very brief, so the argument does not develop in balanced steps. The conclusion introduces a solution about making water pure rather than drawing together the argument about free provision. Group related ideas and use clearer links between each reason and your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “immune,” “digestive system,” “contaminated diseases,” “filtration” and “survival,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also attempts to use more formal expressions, such as “responsibilities of the state.” However, the range is limited by repeated words such as “water,” “pure” and “crucial,” while several inaccurate choices or spellings make the writing less natural: “formost,” “fetal,” “Secondally” and “clothings.” Some combinations are also awkward, including “free of cost” and “increase in algae on the surface of water.” Aim for precise collocations and check spelling; for example, distinguish “fatal” from “fetal” and use “free of charge” for the intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional structures such as “if the water we use in our cooking is not pure it may harm…” and a result clause about oxygen levels. This shows some effort to vary sentence forms. However, errors are frequent, and complex sentences are often not controlled accurately. Examples include “I am totally agree,” “Water is use,” “it lower the amount,” and “these consequences may not suffer by the citizens.” There are also problems with articles, agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “every of the living organisms” and “cooking,in agriculture.” These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and proofread punctuation and sentence construction.
