Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is argued that availability of purified water is human right. In every home, authrioties should be responsible to provide water supply in every home without any cost. In some extent, i agree with this statement.
To begin, access of clean water is a basic human need that's is important for survival. Water is essential element in all aspects of life. For instance, human body contains 70% water. This water can participate in many actions. Such as, it cushions the organs from injury. Moreover, every citizen requires water to do household work. For example, in kitchen water uses in many tasks such as cooking and washing utensils. On the other hand, access of clean water can prevent several kinds of waterbrone diseases like, cholera and diarrhea. These are water contaminated diseases. Which prevents thousands of death every year. In addition, in developed countries governtment provided water and other facillities free of cost because they believe that health has a significent role. In contrast, developed countries lacked their resources because they have low economy support. Furthermore, governtment should be responsible to provide basic facillities.
Lastly, Clean water is beneficial for health and growth. It maintains the blood pressure level. It supports natural habitat and equatic life. Also it secures sustainable agriculture roots. In addition, the long-term benefits of a healthier population and reduced inequality far outweigh the short-term costs.
In conclusion, access to clean water is not a luxury but a necessity, and therefore, it should be available to all households at no cost. By prioritizing this right, societies can move closer to achieving universal health coverage, environmental sustainability, and social justice.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that clean water should be provided to households without charge, and the conclusion reinforces this view. You give relevant reasons, including survival, household use, disease prevention, and wider social benefits. These points address the task, but some are more fully explained than others. For example, the discussion of cooking and washing is supported with examples, while claims about blood pressure, aquatic life, and sustainable agriculture are listed without showing how free household water produces those benefits. The comparison between developed and less-resourced countries is also unclear and not connected fully to your argument. Develop fewer points with specific explanation or an example to make the case more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an overall structure, moving from an introduction to supporting reasons and a conclusion, and signposting such as “To begin,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the main direction. However, progression within the body is uneven: the paragraph shifts from household needs to disease, then to government provision and differences between countries, without clearly linking these ideas. “On the other hand” introduces no contrasting position, so it does not accurately signal the relationship between the points. The final body paragraph also gathers several separate benefits without developing their connections. Use clearer paragraph divisions for distinct arguments and choose linking phrases that express the actual relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “water supply,” “water-contaminated diseases,” “sustainable agriculture,” and “social justice.” There are also attempts to use less common or academic expressions, such as “universal health coverage.” However, spelling errors and imprecise word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the message less clear: “authrioties,” “waterbrone,” “facillities,” and “significent” are examples. Some combinations are unnatural, including “access of clean water” and “sustainable agriculture roots.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. A more precise vocabulary range would help you express the relevant ideas without relying on broad or awkward phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the relative clause in “the long-term benefits … far outweigh the short-term costs” and the reason introduced by “because.” Meaning is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “availability of purified water is human right” needs articles, and “Water is essential element” has the same issue. The sentence “Such as, it cushions the organs from injury” is a fragment, while “Which prevents thousands of death every year” is also incomplete and has a number-agreement problem. There are errors in sentence boundaries and punctuation as well. Practise forming complete sentences and checking articles, agreement, and punctuation while retaining your attempts at varied structures.
