Student answer (Band 6.0)
Water is not only a basic human right but also the basic human body need to perform body functions. I strongly agree that it should provide to every household free of cost, because not having pure water supply, especially for Unprveilage families would become reason for many diseases that would become more burden to afford the threat for the individuals and for the government as well.
As rising threats of water pollution due to industrial disposal of waste in sea ,the water purification is now become necessity for cleaning the water before providing to homes. Unavailability to clean water might encourage to families that can't afford to pay for clean water would highly threaten to many external disease like skin infections aa well internal infection caused by polluted water.
Although, the process of water cleaning might be costly for the government but it should be accommodate from taxes that every individual pays because the consequences of health issues due to clean water absence might be more detrimental than providing clean water to every home.
My sister is doctor and she deals with many patients with skin diseases on daily basis especially the children and infants.
In my conclusion, i believe that every household should be provided with clean water free of charges because the consequences of unavailability of clean water is really harmful for individual health. That why, the government need to find some solution by sorting out some budget to water supply department annually specifically for a clean water supply for every house.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the opening: you strongly agree that households should receive clean water free of charge, and you return to this view in the conclusion. You give relevant reasons, especially the health risks for families unable to pay, and the point that public funding could come from taxes. The example about your sister treating patients adds personal support. This fully addresses the task, but some ideas are less developed than others: the claim about industrial pollution is introduced without explaining how it connects to household access, and the medical example is not linked explicitly to the case for free provision. Develop these links and explain how the proposed funding would work to make the argument more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction states your view, the body presents health and funding arguments, and the conclusion restates your position. The progression from water quality to health consequences is generally understandable, and “Although” signals a contrast. However, the body paragraphs do not consistently separate or develop their main points: the pollution discussion, affordability, and disease effects are crowded together, while your sister’s example appears as a standalone sentence. Some connections are also unclear, particularly the transition from the example to the conclusion. Organise each paragraph around one central claim, then use explicit links to show how evidence supports it. This would make the overall arrangement clearer and reduce the impression of ideas being added abruptly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “water pollution,” “water purification,” “taxes,” and “skin infections,” so the reader can follow the main subject. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “detrimental” and “unavailability.” However, several inaccurate word choices and collocations make parts of the argument difficult to interpret: “basic human body need,” “external disease,” and “afford the threat” do not express the intended meanings naturally. Spelling errors such as “Unprveilage” and “aa” also reduce precision. Build a reliable set of topic phrases and check whether each word fits its context; for example, distinguish “access to clean water” from “water supply” and use established expressions for health risks.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a contrast clause beginning “Although” and a reason clause with “because.” These attempts show some range, but errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction are frequent enough to make several sentences awkward or unclear. For example, “it should provide” needs a passive form, while “the water purification is now become necessity” combines incompatible verb forms and omits an article. In “the government need,” the subject and verb do not agree. Review passive constructions, present-tense agreement, and article use, then proofread long sentences by checking that each clause has a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
