Student answer (Band 5.5)
in recent years cleaned water level decreases at certain point and noticeably fall due to industries and many more reasons. Access to clean drinking water is basic human need in respect to that in different residential areas residents pay monthly basis. In my opinion there are multiple third world countries where people have not access to clean drinking water at that place billed on water system should not be ethicaly correct furthermore alot of people faced viral diseases due to contaminated water.
First of all water is basic mankind right. evey person have right to access clean drinking water. There are lot of people who don't even afford weekly food ration how they even paid for clean water moreover in different under developed countries a lot of people ill with viral diseases due to drinking dirty water. In such countries people not able to pay for just basic drinking need. For Instance, in different cities of Nigeria children, elders ill with viral diseases due to drinking contaminated water.
Second major point is that equal distribution of water between poor and well off people because those wealthy people who built major industries the major cause of contaminated water become easily buy and drinking clean water whereas unwealthy people don't able to buy clean water and they beacome expose to major diseases so equal distribution of water is necessary, moreover irrigation of water falls day by day, less likely available of clean drinking water.
According to my point of view water is basic need and it should be free in all countries especially in third world countries or specific areas where people not able to buy clean drinking water and secondly government should take action on industries proper wastage system so water should be clean, soil is irregated and wastage of water should be prohibited. So anyone in the world easily access clean drinking water without pay a single charges.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you argue that clean water should be free, particularly for people who cannot afford it, and you address the question with reasons and an example from Nigeria. The points about illness from contaminated water and unequal access are relevant, and the final paragraph also recognises government responsibility. This meets the task well, but the support is uneven: the Nigeria example is brief, while the claim that free water should apply “in all countries” is not weighed against costs or practical limits. The discussion of industrial pollution and irrigation is relevant but not fully connected to why household water should be free. Develop these points with explanation or a specific example to make the argument more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs beginning “First of all” and “Second major point,” and a concluding paragraph. This gives the reader a basic route through your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are joined in long sentences, and links such as “moreover” are repeated or do not clearly show the relationship between claims. For example, the second body paragraph moves from industrial pollution to unequal access and then water availability without clearly explaining each connection. Use one main idea per paragraph, divide long sentences, and make references explicit so the argument develops more smoothly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “contaminated water,” “viral diseases,” “equal distribution,” and “industries,” which helps communicate the subject. There is also an attempt to use more formal expressions such as “According to my point of view.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning unclear: “cleaned water level decreases,” “billed on water system,” and “irrigation of water falls” do not express the intended ideas naturally. Spelling errors such as “ethicaly,” “beacome,” and “irregated” also affect accuracy. Build a bank of precise phrases for water access, affordability, pollution, and public provision, and check spelling and word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because” and “whereas,” and your overall position can usually be understood. However, complex sentences are often difficult to control, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries recur. Examples include “every person have right,” “people have not access,” and “they beacome expose to major diseases”; these patterns make some relationships between ideas hard to follow. There are also run-on sentences, particularly in the opening and second body paragraph. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, then separate connected claims into shorter sentences before adding more complex structures.
