Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is often argued by some people that supply of pure water to the each houses must be permissble and it should be free of cost. It is the basic citizen's right. Although, some people might disagree with the statement, I completely agree with it. Not only because allowing pollution-free clean water to the homes, allieviate the water related disease but also minimize the burden of buying clean water from external resources
There are amount of benefits linked with the free allowance of pure water to homes. Firstly, the water related human illnesses can be eliminiate from the society. As, the impure water carry many germs with it , which are actually hazardous to individual's health. Take an example of World health organization (WHO), the world's top human's health organization worldwide, conduct a research in 2001 and it had been found that unclean water usage by human bodies were causing severe upto 35% of life threatening diseases. Thus, access to clean water to the homes must be done, taking people's health as upmost priorirty
On the other hand, drinking clean water is one's life necessity. If they are not given free of charge purified water then, citizens must have to buy from the external sources in order to fulfil their drinking clean water needs. As because of this expenditure, it makes ultimately an unnecessary financial burden on family's bread earner. For instance, John william, a famous social activist, had said in his report of january 2015 that many middle class families were sacrifising their other needs in order to complete the responsibility of buying clean water for drinking, cooking and other home chores. Hence, affording pure water for basic human daily needs is not easy for middle class families and nearly impossible for lower socioeconmic people.
In conclusion, I believe that accessing clean water to every home is a basic human right and the supply should be done free of cost. In this way, we can minimize the dangerous wate-linked diseases additionally lesser the burden of buying expensive pure drinking water.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction—“I completely agree”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You give two relevant reasons: reducing illness caused by unsafe water and preventing the cost of buying water from becoming a burden. The WHO and family examples help support these points, so the response addresses the question rather than merely discussing water access in general. However, the health argument is more fully explained than the financial one, and the examples are asserted rather than clearly connected to evidence or personal knowledge. To strengthen the response, explain how free household provision would work in practice and develop the affordability point with a specific, credible illustration. This would make the support more consistently extended.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting separate reasons, and a conclusion that restates your view. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “On the other hand,” and “Hence” help readers follow the argument. The progression is generally logical, but some linking is mechanical or awkward: “On the other hand” suggests a contrasting view, although the paragraph continues to support your position. Several sentences also contain unclear references or connections, such as “As because of this expenditure,” which makes the relationship between ideas harder to follow. Use transitions that accurately signal addition or consequence, and make each sentence’s subject explicit. These refinements would make the organisation more fluent and cohesion less noticeable.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt topic-specific vocabulary, including “water-related diseases,” “purified water,” “financial burden,” and “lower socioeconomic people,” which helps convey the main ideas. There is also some effort to vary expression rather than repeat “clean water” throughout. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less natural: “free allowance of pure water,” “external resources,” and “sacrifising” are examples. Some phrases are also unnecessarily elaborate, such as “the world's top human's health organization worldwide.” Aim for precise, conventional collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully. A more controlled range of natural expressions would improve clarity and make your vocabulary more effective.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple statements and attempts at complex structures, including “Although some people might disagree with the statement, I completely agree with it” and the “not only…but also” construction. This shows an effort to vary sentence forms. However, complex sentences are not consistently controlled, and errors in articles, agreement, verb forms, and sentence construction sometimes interrupt the flow. For example, “the each houses” has an article and number problem, while “the impure water carry” has subject–verb disagreement. The opening “Although” clause is also punctuated as a fragment before the main statement. Practise building complex sentences around a clear subject and verb, then check agreement, articles, and clause punctuation. Greater accuracy would make your argument easier to read.
