Student answer (Band 4.5)

Access to clean water is a basic human right and ragulation. Therefore every home should have a water supply that si provided free of charge, but i am compeletly disagree with that.

Therefore, clean water is basic human right of every hum being, but with this there are some personal responsibilties are also be occer. Free water supply puts some negligibale effect on the human being well loss respect of water in the terms of overflow, extra usage and some time not pay a proper fee can genrate some discremination between free and pay able water. Water is came in some of that things are nessaccery for life to live on Earth.

On the other hand, free water supply is should be cause of shortage of drinkable water on Earth. Most of the country in Africa are being spending their lifes with lack of water there, because their are not proper rules and regulations about the usage of drinkable water by their forefather, and now spending their life like under development country.

Moreover, some country who's have ability to provide free water to their people, but they put some extra charges on the water supply, that type of rule are also cause of migration from their country to suiteable destinations.

In conclusion, water is a basic human right, therefore it should be free of cost for peoples, but for those who have ability and resourses for it. Some countries like in Africa those are in greate trouble related to water must be cntain fully control on the supply of water for their upcoming life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You state a position—“I am completely disagree”—and refer to concerns about waste, shortages and charges, so the response is connected to the question. However, the argument is difficult to follow and does not clearly explain whether water should be free, subsidised, or charged according to ability to pay. The conclusion even says water “should be free of cost” for some people, which conflicts with the opening disagreement. The examples about African countries and migration are broad and their connection to the proposed policy is not explained. The response is also four words below the required minimum; the 18 words copied from the prompt do not count. Develop a consistent position and support each reason with a clear explanation or relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an opening, several body points and a conclusion, and signposts such as “On the other hand” and “Moreover” show an attempt to organise ideas. However, the progression between points is often unclear: the discussion moves from personal responsibility to water shortages, then to migration, without showing how each supports the central disagreement. Some linking phrases do not express the relationship accurately, and the conclusion introduces a qualification that was not established earlier. Paragraphing is present, but ideas within paragraphs are difficult to connect because references such as “that type of rule” are unclear. Use one main reason per paragraph, explain the link to your position, and make the conclusion restate the same position as the introduction.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “shortage of drinkable water,” “water supply,” “charges” and “migration.” However, the range is basic and many spelling and word-choice errors make the argument hard to understand, for example “ragulation,” “negligibale effect,” “discremination” and “suiteable destinations.” Several phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “personal responsibilities are also be occur” and “water is came in some of that things.” These problems sometimes strain the reader’s understanding, which limits the effectiveness of the vocabulary. Build a reliable set of topic phrases and check spelling, word forms and collocations; prefer clear expressions such as “responsibility to conserve water” over complicated wording you cannot control.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including sentences beginning with “Therefore,” “On the other hand” and “Moreover.” However, grammatical errors occur throughout and often obscure meaning. Examples include “I am completely disagree,” “every home should have a water supply that si provided,” and “Most of the country in Africa are being spending their lifes.” There are recurring problems with verb forms, subject–verb agreement, articles and sentence construction; for instance, “free water supply is should be cause” does not form a clear grammatical clause. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses, checking that each sentence has a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
