Student answer (Band 5.0)
Water is a significant element of human's life. Approach of clean water is a basic human right so every home should have a water supply that should be free of charges. I partly agree and disagree with the statement.
From my perpective, I partly agree with the statement because water is a crucial element in everyone's life and it's also a basic human right because if we drink clean water we can stay healthy by this and the threat of diseases have become very low for instense we can save ourself differnt types of Hypatitis and other Kidney's diseases. It's a government responsbility to look after ourself's.
Futhermore clean water is very significant in agriculture if we have a garden we need clean water without impurities due to plants need clean water for thier growth and should need to grow friuts.
On the contrast, I partly disagree with this statement although clean water is a basic human right therefore if govenment clean the impure it's is a very expensive process. In this way government effect financially because it requires alot of money. That's why I think every home need should pay for clean water In this way government do not effect financially and the circuit of the country runs smoothly.
Overall, honestly speaking i parlty agree and disagree wuth the statement

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a position—“I partly agree and disagree”—and include relevant points about health, agriculture, and the cost of water treatment. However, the response addresses the question only partially: it does not clearly explain what “free of charge” should mean in practice or distinguish basic household needs from other water use. The health point is relevant, but the examples and reasoning are brief, while the agriculture paragraph does not clearly connect garden water to the proposal for every home. The response is also 204 words, below the required 250; 16 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop each main reason with a clear explanation or example, and state a more precise position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, reasons supporting free water, a contrasting point about cost, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Furthermore” and “On the contrast” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, progression is limited, and the relationship between some ideas is unclear. For example, the agriculture point about gardens and fruit does not lead clearly from the health argument, and the cost paragraph moves quickly from treatment expenses to households paying without explaining the connection. The conclusion repeats the opening position rather than summarising the reasoning. Use topic sentences that identify each paragraph’s purpose, connect explanations explicitly, and avoid relying on formulaic transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “basic human right,” “clean water,” “agriculture,” “impurities,” and “financially.” This gives the response enough language to communicate its main concerns. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts difficult to understand, such as “Approach of clean water,” “the threat of diseases have become very low,” and “the circuit of the country runs smoothly.” Spelling errors, including “perpective,” “Futhermore,” and “responsbility,” are also noticeable. Aim for precise, natural phrases and check spelling carefully; using a smaller number of accurate expressions is more effective than attempting awkward wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional idea beginning “if we drink clean water” and a contrast introduced by “although.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some meaning unclear. For example, “the threat of diseases have become very low” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “if govenment clean the impure it's is a very expensive process” has an incomplete clause and faulty verb construction. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “every home need should pay.” Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them with one clear subordinate clause at a time, checking agreement and punctuation.
