Student answer (Band 5.5)
The basic human right is acess to clean water. Therefore every people and home should have a clean water supply that is provided zero cost of charge.I'm clearly disagree for this statement because for a good quality and clean water supply we should pay for maintaining and redesign in time.
The main reasion i'm disagree for this statement is if water supply provided free than people forget value of water and they are wasting water because they don't have to pay. Moreover, I have watched some people are not active for maintaining water supply system and didn't help to bring water through the pipe from the source to hometown, For example. In my hometown 29 to 30 family lived their, whereas 9 to 10 familes went to from souce of water for fixing the problems. In contrast, other families doesn't matter about that problems. They are choose bring a water from another community by hand, but they didn't go in own source.Nowdays, we made a plan, if you don't want to go then you have to pay and now they are active. It has helps to our community.
Secondly, if we have pay for water supply than we can used that money to improve water supply system and reduce the waste of water. Likewise, it helps us our local goverment by the tax. It is one of the earning method by every home and help to development community. For example. the goverment spend the money in infrastructure, transport system and start to leran different skill, which help to reduce unemployment rate.
Overall, I'm extremly disagree every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge, because if we pay for water supply this is so helpful and benificial of every community. It is the root of development.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction and conclusion: you disagree with free household water. You give relevant reasons, including the need to maintain the supply system and the possibility that charging users may encourage conservation. The hometown example adds personal support, and the response addresses the question directly. To make the argument more fully developed, explain more clearly how payment should work—for example, whether basic household use should be free while higher use is charged—and connect the point about government tax revenue to water provision. The discussion of transport, skills training and unemployment is less directly linked to the question. The response meets the stated length requirement; 13 words copied from the task prompt were excluded from the count.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from conservation and community maintenance to funding improvements, and signposts such as “Moreover,” “Secondly” and “Overall” help show this sequence. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. In the first body paragraph, the shift from families maintaining a local source to bringing water from another community needs clearer explanation, and “In contrast” does not clearly express the relationship between those details. The second paragraph also moves from water charges to transport and skills training without a strong link. Use referencing and transitions that make the relationship between each example and your main argument explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “water supply,” “maintaining,” “source,” “infrastructure” and “unemployment rate,” so the reader can follow the main points. There are also attempts to express more specific ideas, such as “reduce the waste of water.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make parts of the response difficult to interpret: “zero cost of charge,” “went to from source,” and “It is the root of development.” Spelling errors such as “reasion,” “familes” and “goverment” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise set of collocations for water services and public funding, and check spelling and word forms. For example, use “at no cost,” “repair the water system,” and “a source of community development.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional idea in “if water supply provided free than people forget value of water” and a relative clause in “which help to reduce unemployment rate.” This shows some range, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas hard to follow. Examples include “every people and home should have,” “if we have pay,” “we can used,” and “It has helps,” where agreement, verb forms or auxiliary patterns are faulty. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “for a good quality and clean water supply” and the run-on transition after “charge.” Practise accurate conditional forms and past/present verb patterns, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
