Student answer (Band 4.5)

water is the most basic element of our planet.without water life cannot be exist.our palnet consisit of 73 percent of water.it is the most necessary need of every being.any kind of living being cannot survivie without of it.human body also contain massive amounts of water levels like upto 90 percent of the composition based on this.acess to clean water is a common right of every of human in this world.but due monoply and conusmption of such resources make it harder to get acess by ghetto communities.this such unfair advantage of socialism creates the hideous difference in society.the issue isnt water resources the mian concern is limited drinkable water.the consumable water is only 3 to 4 percent in this world.and the rest is salty which makes it so insane to drink without filtered it or boiling it.this creates the unfair advantage in nature.those who are not sufficient stable financially get many kind of multiple problems to live and to fulfill thier domestic needs.basically im also belong from a middle class family.and here in my country there is also a water shortage in our big cities.which is countinuing from many decades so most of the population is living under poverty and by using nasty water they are getting mnay serious diseases like diarrhea and ultimately unbalance growth of neuro system and vital organs like kidney stones and gut related intestine issues.so we need to do not waste water and to preserve it for the generations of next future of this globe

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You identify clean water as a human right and describe the consequences of unsafe water, including illness in your country, so the response is relevant to the topic. However, the central question is whether every home should receive water free of charge, and you do not clearly state whether you agree or disagree with that proposal. The discussion focuses instead on water scarcity, unequal access, and conservation; it does not explain who should pay or how free household supply could work. The personal example could support your argument, but it needs a clearer link to the proposed policy. The response is also one word below the required minimum. To develop the task more fully, state your position directly and give reasons and examples specifically about free provision.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a discernible movement from the importance of water to scarcity, unequal access, and the effects of unsafe supplies. The personal reference to water shortages in your country also gives the discussion a potentially useful focus. However, the response is presented as one long, unpunctuated paragraph, so the reader has difficulty seeing where one idea ends and another begins. Connections between points are sometimes abrupt: for example, the shift from water’s global composition to “unfair advantage of socialism” is not explained. Repeated linking through “and,” “so,” and “this” does not always make relationships clear. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons, and conclusion, and make each transition show the precise relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-specific vocabulary, including “drinkable water,” “water shortage,” “poverty,” and “domestic needs,” and you refer to relevant health consequences. This gives you some resources for discussing the issue. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning difficult to follow, such as “monoply and conusmption,” “unfair advantage of socialism,” and “unbalance growth.” Frequent spelling errors, including “acess,” “survivie,” and “thier,” also distract the reader. Aim for accurate, natural phrases rather than complicated wording whose meaning is unclear. For example, describe unequal access directly and use established terms such as “water supply,” “waterborne diseases,” and “affordable access.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, and some basic sentence patterns communicate the general topic. However, sentence boundaries and punctuation are often missing, making several sentences run together. There are also frequent errors in verb forms and sentence construction, as in “life cannot be exist” and “I’m also belong from a middle class family.” Other examples include “the rest is salty which makes it so insane to drink,” where the clause structure is difficult to control, and inconsistent use of capital letters at sentence beginnings. These problems sometimes make the intended relationships unclear. Practise writing complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check verb forms, articles, and punctuation before combining ideas into longer structures.
