Student answer (Band 5.5)
Just as every human right, water is an essential part of a human survival and it should definitely be provided to every individual free of cost. 70% of a human body is made of water, and our health also depends on the consumption a person has, so it's totally needs to be provided free of cost to each and everyone by the government.
In the world there are so many countries which lack the providing of clear water to the individuals which can't afford a water supply in their house, which results as an invitation to a lot of diseases and infections, dirty water can harm a human body in numerous ways and it needs proper treatment and care which is a nightmare for a poor person, so it tells us that clear water is really needed in order for a better environment and better health.
A water supply can be really beneficial in this era. A good diet can lead to a better flight, meaning our body needs healthy meal to keep working, and if it is not provided a healthy diet, it may lead to have many problems in the human body and sickness. Water is indeed a natural miracle that should be provided to every individual free of cost, without water there's no proof of life. Just like a car needs fuel to run, a body needs water. If there's any dirt in the fuel, the car would be damaged, same as the human body. Once it's polluted it'll cause numerous risks for infection and diseases leading to be nauseous, dizzy, sick and having stomach infection.
Finally I agree that water supply should really be provided to every individual free of cost so that it doesn't burden anyone with the installation cost, fixing cost and purifying cost. It should be provided freely as well as the repairs. So that everyone can live a better life and healthy life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that water should be supplied free, and you give relevant reasons involving health, poverty and the risks of contaminated water. The comparison between a body needing water and a car needing fuel also helps illustrate your point. However, the response only partly develops the task. It does not distinguish access to a basic amount of clean water from making all household supply and related services free, and the claims about installation, repairs and purification are asserted rather than explained. Some ideas, such as the discussion of diet and “a better flight,” are unclear or do not directly support the argument. Develop fewer points with specific explanation or examples, and clarify what “free of charge” should cover.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an identifiable structure, moving from an introduction through supporting paragraphs to a concluding statement, and the final paragraph restates your position. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because several ideas are joined into long sentences, particularly the paragraph beginning “In the world there are so many countries.” Connections between points are sometimes repetitive: the need for water, health risks and free provision recur without a clear sequence of claim, explanation and example. Some linking phrases, such as “Finally,” help signal stages, but they do not resolve unclear relationships between ideas. Use shorter, more focused paragraphs and make each one develop a distinct reason, with clear references and transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “water supply,” “polluted,” “purifying” and “infections,” and the car-and-fuel comparison gives you a way to explain the health argument. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “clear water” where “clean water” is intended, “a better flight,” and “an invitation to a lot of diseases.” Repetition of “free of cost,” “human body” and “better life” also limits precision. Aim for more natural topic-specific phrasing and check whether each expression conveys the intended meaning; varying repeated terms will make the argument clearer and more formal.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “which” and conditional structures such as “If there's any dirt in the fuel.” However, complex sentences are often faulty or overloaded, and frequent errors can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “our health also depends on the consumption a person has” lacks a clear grammatical relationship, while “so it's totally needs to be provided” has an incorrect verb construction. There are also errors in articles and agreement, as in “a human survival” and “it tells us.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation need attention, especially where several clauses are joined by commas. Practise accurate clause construction and vary sentence length.
