Student answer (Band 6.0)
Water is driving fuel of living organisms in our planet, since we are not able to survive without access to clean water many people consider it as a human right and they believe every household should have provided with water supply for free. I completely disagree with this view, because provding homes with clean water includes infrastructure, piplines and recyclig etc which requires huge funding, moreover i believe people tend to value less things which are offered free.
To begin with, providing households with water supply through their sink is huge project which requires vast funding for intstallment of pipelines, repairing, recycling etc. To run such big infrastructure without funding would be impossible task, there will be always problems such as pipeline leakage, especially in winter if not fixed immediately, might cause a bigger problems like damaging the whole city. To tackle such issues they need professionals, equipment which costs a state tons of money. I had a experience, we had minor issues with overused pipeline and we had to change it immediately. Which cost us some money also it is almost impossible to fix without help of professionals.
Moreover, it is in human nature to value less when something earned easily or free. Offering free water means inadequete use of water, unnecessary usage of water will be big issue. For instance, in some cities in Mongolia people use clean drinkable water to flush their toilet, which is inefficient solution made by goverment. In some parts people are struggling to find drinkable water and yet flushing toilet with clean water can cause huge problems in the future.
To conclude, eventough some believe clean water is human right, we should consider we are not only living orgamisms in this planet. Therefore if we are consume such valueable element we should pay, and realize that it is not free.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the introduction—“I completely disagree”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You address the central claim with two relevant reasons: the cost of maintaining water infrastructure and the risk of waste when water is free. The examples about repairing a pipeline and using drinking water to flush toilets help support these points. This fits a response that addresses the task and extends its ideas, although some claims are broad or not fully explained. For example, the pipeline anecdote illustrates household repair costs, but the link between those costs and why every home should pay for its supply could be made more explicit. Develop the distinction between guaranteeing access as a right and charging for the service to make the argument more fully reasoned.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present separate reasons, and a conclusion restates your position. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “To conclude” make the progression easy to follow. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some flexibility in linking ideas. However, connections within sentences are occasionally awkward, and some references are unclear. For instance, “Which cost us some money” is detached from the preceding sentence, while “In some parts” does not specify which places you mean. Use complete sentence links and clearer references, and vary transitions so the argument feels less formulaic and more smoothly connected.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “infrastructure,” “pipelines,” “leakage,” and “drinkable water,” which helps communicate the main argument. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “vast funding” and “inefficient solution.” However, the range and control are limited by repeated general words such as “huge,” “problems,” and “water,” as well as inaccurate or unnatural combinations such as “driving fuel of living organisms” and “value less things.” Spelling errors—including “provding,” “recyclig,” and “inadequete”—are noticeable and sometimes slow the reader. Build a more precise set of topic collocations and proofread spelling and word forms to make your meaning consistently clear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if not fixed immediately, might cause a bigger problems” and a reason clause beginning “since.” These attempts show some range, but complex sentences are often faulty, and errors recur across the response. Examples include “every household should have provided,” “To run such big infrastructure without funding would be impossible task,” and “if we are consume.” There are also sentence-boundary and punctuation problems, such as the fragment “Which cost us some money.” These errors can make relationships between ideas harder to follow. Practise accurate verb patterns, articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, then check each longer sentence for a complete subject and verb.
