Student answer (Band 5.0)
No doubt, Access to clean water is a basic human right. So, every home should have provide a clean water connection without any cost. I completely agree with this statement that clean water access is significant for human health and they can save their incomes.
There are many reasons but the main reason is that clean water access play the important role for maintaining human life. Since, many recent studies explain that, through the clean water people can improve their health and increasing the human power. For example, the Africa, where have not access of clean water, African people face many health-relative issues in their life. As a result, doctor alwasys recommends their patient that drink two littler clean water for maintain their power and spend healthful life. So, all these evidence, it is clean that can water is important for spend healthful and powerful life.
The second main reason is that through clean water access people have can their incomes. Due to, Majority of people earn illter incomes in their life. They do not have enough money to purchase clean water. For instance, many developed China and the USA and the UK Governments can work hard to provide clean water access in their citizens homes without any price. Therefore, the Government belive that provide clean water access is a responsibility of the nation government.
In conclusion, clean water play the significant role to maintaining human bodies and through this access people can their incomes. So, provide this access is a responsibility of national governments.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you completely agree that households should receive clean water without charge, and you give two relevant reasons—health and household income. The examples about health problems where access is limited and governments supplying water help address the topic. However, both reasons are under-developed: explain more precisely how free provision would improve health or protect low-income households, and make the examples more specific and reliable. The claim about China, the USA and the UK is asserted rather than supported. The response also falls short of the required 250 words: the supplied count is 246, with nine words copied from the prompt excluded. Develop your explanations and examples to cover the task more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The sequence from health to income is easy to identify, and signposts such as “The second main reason” and “In conclusion” help the reader follow the broad organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear because ideas are repeated or connected mechanically. For example, “So” and “As a result” appear without a clear logical link, while “Due to” does not introduce a complete explanation. The conclusion largely repeats the introduction rather than drawing the reasons together. Use clearer links between each claim, explanation and example, and avoid repeating the same point in slightly different wording.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “basic human right,” “clean water access,” “human health” and “responsibility.” This gives the response enough language to communicate its main position and reasons. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make meaning difficult to follow, such as “have can their incomes,” “illter incomes,” “health-relative issues” and “spend healthful life.” Spelling errors such as “alwasys,” “littler” and “belive” also reduce clarity. Aim for precise, natural collocations and check word forms and spelling. For instance, explain that households can “save money” or “avoid the cost of buying bottled water,” rather than using the unclear phrase about having incomes.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt some longer sentences, including a clause beginning “Since” and examples introduced with “For example,” but control is weak and the range of accurate structures is limited. Frequent errors can make the reader work to understand the message. Examples include “every home should have provide,” “clean water access play,” and “people have can their incomes,” which show problems with verb forms and sentence construction. There are also errors in articles, agreement and punctuation, as in “Since, many recent studies explain that,” and “the Africa, where have not access.” Practise building clear simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses with correct subjects and verbs. Check each sentence for a complete clause and consistent agreement.
