Student answer (Band 5.5)
No doubt, access to clean water is a basic human right. Therefore, every home should have provided clean water supply without any charges. I completely agree with the statement that through access to clean water people can improve their health and they can save money.
They are many reasons but the main reason is that safe water play the most important role in human bodies. This is because drinking safe water protect the diseases. For example, in Africa, where people face many health-relative problems, beacuse where do not clean water facilities, unsafe water make weak people and spread disease. Moreover, doctor always recommends their patient to drink atleast 2 littler filter water in their life. So, clean water is important for stays health and spend energy life.
The second reason is that the Government have responsibility to providing free clean water supply in every home free of charges. Since, Majority of people earn illter incomes. they do not have enough money to purchases access of drinking water. For instance, developed countries, like China, the USA and the UK nation Government have responsibility to providing for free water connection their citizens and this money, people can use for filful their basic need through their saving. Therefore, access to clean water is a basic human right and this facililties provided by nation Government.
In conclusion, safe water is significant for human health and through this facilities they can save money and this money can use to filfil other their basic need. The Government have responsibiliites to providing this facilities for citizens without any payment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you completely agree, and you give two relevant reasons—clean water supports health and free provision can help people with limited incomes. The examples about unsafe water in Africa and government responsibility are connected to the topic, but they are broad and not fully explained; the claim about provision in China, the USA and the UK, for instance, needs a clearer or more specific illustration. The response addresses the question only partially because the supporting ideas remain under-developed, and the conclusion mostly repeats them. The response is 239 words, so it is 11 words below the 250-word minimum; the 23 words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop each reason with a more precise explanation and example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present reasons, and a conclusion restates your position. Basic signposting such as “The second reason,” “For example,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the main points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several links are mechanical or inaccurate. For example, “Since, Majority of people earn illter incomes” does not connect smoothly to the preceding claim, while “Therefore, access” has faulty punctuation and spacing. The final sentence repeats the government-responsibility point rather than bringing the argument together. Use fewer formulaic transitions, make the relationship between each claim and its explanation explicit, and check that pronouns such as “this facilities” clearly refer to the intended idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “basic human right,” “safe water,” “health,” and “Government,” so the reader can identify your main concerns. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors make parts of the argument difficult to understand. Examples include “health-relative problems,” “filter water,” “illter incomes,” and “filful their basic need”; these do not express the intended meanings naturally. Repetition of “clean water,” “free,” and “basic need” also limits flexibility. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and collocations before submitting. More precise expressions for water access, household costs, and public provision would make your reasons clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “This is because” and a conditional-style example introduced by “where.” However, the range is limited, and errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles, and plurals occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “safe water play” needs subject–verb agreement, “drinking safe water protect” has the same problem, and “The Government have responsibility to providing” contains errors in both the verb pattern and sentence construction. The sentence beginning “For instance, developed countries” is also incomplete or awkwardly assembled. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking agreement, articles, and verb patterns.
