Student answer (Band 5.5)
To live in this planet- every living being requires basic factors(water, food, clothes). Many individual argue that clean water is a basic human rights and should be accessed by every human being without any charge. I strongly agree with this statement as neat and clean water assist a person to be physically fit and fine. Another reason is that water is also usefull for farming which will later support in growth of country economy.
To begin with, water is a essential fundamental source of human live as well as their growth. Drinking daily of 2 to 3 liters of water provides efficient neutritions and iron to the body of a person. If a person is given enough water that person will have a happy and healthy life-on the other hand, not every family group can afford water as they are required to fulfill their other fundamental needs so i belive that water supply should be provided free of charge.
Moreover, farming is another field that requires a substantial amount of water. Growth of crops need enough water supply and sun burn- not every farmer is wealthy to spend money on water supply for crops. Farming provide a family food supply to stay alive-furthermore, it also support in market area that later boost country economy.
In conclusion, some groups of individual argue that water is a funtamental need for a human therefore every household should have a free cost of water supply. I undoubtably agree because water is essential for a human life and farming to provide food supply and support country economy.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that water should be free, and you give two relevant reasons—its importance to health and its role in farming and the economy. These points address the question, but the support is limited and sometimes unclear. For example, the claim that drinking water provides “iron” and “efficient neutritions” is not explained and may weaken the health argument. The farming point is also asserted rather than developed: explain how charging farmers for water affects food prices or access to food. The response focuses on free water but does not consider what “free” means in practice, such as whether household use alone or all water use should be covered. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “To begin with” and “Moreover,” and a conclusion that restates your view. The reader can follow the two main reasons. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult because several ideas are joined in long, loosely connected sentences, such as the sentence beginning “If a person is given enough water.” The links “on the other hand” and “furthermore” do not always show the precise relationship between the ideas, and some points are repeated in the conclusion rather than brought together. Use shorter sentences where needed, make each paragraph follow a clear claim–explanation–example sequence, and choose linking expressions that accurately show contrast or result.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “basic human rights,” “substantial amount,” “water supply,” and “country economy,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unnatural choices make the writing less clear. Examples include “neat and clean water,” “efficient neutritions,” “growth of crops need,” and “free cost of water supply.” There are also spelling errors such as “usefull,” “belive,” and “funtamental.” Aim for precise, natural collocations rather than repeating broad terms such as “water” and “support.” Proofread spelling and word forms, and learn useful topic phrases such as “safe drinking water,” “agricultural production,” and “economic growth.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If a person is given enough water…” and a reason clause introduced by “as.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences awkward or difficult to process. For example, “Many individual argue” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “water is a essential fundamental source” has an article problem. In “Growth of crops need enough water supply,” the subject and verb do not agree, and the sentence beginning “Drinking daily of 2 to 3 liters” is not formed naturally. Work on agreement, articles, and complete sentence structure. Use punctuation to separate independent ideas instead of joining them with hyphens.
