Student answer (Band 5.5)
Water is a source of life. No one can life without water therefore it is include in basic human right. However, today everything is become a source of income including water. In my opinion, water must have been free of cost for every person.
To began with the past condition of water, all the villages in the past must had at least one well were all the people take water and use it for their thrist but with the passage of time when the factories and industries were came and be the cause of acid rains scientist feel the need to filtre the water before drinking. So, the filtration process starts from this. However, nowadays many people make it as a source of income which is a basic right of every people.
As a result, some poor people are not able to by a filtred water and the become the aim of sevare diseases like diarrhea.
But some cruel people even nowadays are asking to remove it from basic human rights so that they are become able to be the crocodiles of water filteration industry. For example, in india and bangladash some rich people starts the industries of water a become a super rich.
In conclusion, water is a basic human right it must be free of cost for every one so the government should start an organisation to take a check that no one can sale the water as a source of income. Furthermore government should must make a filteration plants in every street to give water to every single person.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you argue that water should be free because it is a basic human right, and you return to this view in the conclusion with a proposal for government action. You also give relevant supporting points, including the difficulty poorer people face in obtaining filtered water and the risk of disease. However, some parts are less fully explained than others. The account of wells, industrialisation and acid rain does not clearly establish why household water should be free, and the example about wealthy business owners is asserted rather than developed. Explain more directly how free provision could protect access while addressing the costs of treatment and delivery.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion. The progression from water as a right to affordability and health risks is generally understandable, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “As a result” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. “However” appears where the relationship between ideas is not a contrast, and the shift from the history of wells to factories and then to private industry needs clearer explanation. Some references, such as “it” in the discussion of filtration, are not immediately clear. Use more precise links between claims and examples, and organise each body paragraph around one main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “basic human right,” “source of income,” “filtration process” and “severe diseases,” so the main ideas can be understood. There are also attempts to use less common expressions, but several choices or spellings are inaccurate and sometimes distract the reader: “thrist,” “filtred,” “sale” and “crocodiles of water filteration industry.” The last phrase is especially unclear and does not communicate the intended criticism naturally. Some wording is also repetitive, particularly “free of cost” and “source of income.” Build a more precise range for discussing public services, affordability and water treatment, and check spelling and collocations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause in “so that…” and a relative clause about the well. The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some grammatical errors occur across verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction. For example, “No one can life” needs a correct verb form, while “factories and industries were came” combines incompatible verb forms. In “all the people take water,” the tense does not fit the past context, and “the government should must make” uses two modal verbs together. Review past-tense consistency and modal patterns, and divide long sentences where several ideas are joined without clear punctuation.
