Student answer (Band 6.5)
It is argued that access to purified water is an essential right of human beings. Therefore clean water should be delivered to every household for free. I agree witht this argument due to the fact that people pay taxes to governments and reduction of disease risk.
Unclean water increases the risk of waterborne diseases. Drinking water is crucial for the survival of human beings and dirty water affect people without discriminating against their financial status. Unpurified beverages will cause ailments like diarrhea, cholera and hepatitis. This large influx of patients will raise the financial burden on the healthcare systems. So, providing purified water is in the best interest of governments as well.
Access to clean water is the right of tax paying citizen. Admittedly, the logistics of delivering purified water is a costly manuver. For example, setting up filtration plants to remove impurities from dirty water and installing pipelines to supply the processed water is an expensive and time taking process. But people who pay taxes and levies to governments are entitled to this service because water is essential for everyday tasks of life from cooking to cultivation of fruits and vegetables. Therefore, individuals should get free supply of clean waters to their homes.
To conclude, it is true that the procedure to clean the water costs heavily but it should still be supplied to every household free of charge. Because consumers pay a lot of taxes to governments and it is their right to get clean water and usage of purified water will protect human beings from pathogens and consequently saves a lot of money in healthcare sector for the states.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you agree that households should receive clean water free of charge, and the conclusion restates this view. You give two relevant reasons—reducing waterborne illness and the idea that taxpayers are entitled to essential services—and support them with examples such as cholera and the infrastructure needed for water treatment. The health argument is explained more fully, including the possible burden on healthcare systems. By contrast, the tax-based argument is asserted rather than fully established: explain why tax funding should cover the entire household supply, and consider how this would work in practice. This addresses the task well, but fuller development of that point would make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, each body paragraph develops a separate reason, and the conclusion summarises your position. The progression from health benefits to public funding is logical, and linking expressions such as “For example,” “But,” and “Therefore” help guide the reader. Some connections are nevertheless mechanical or unclear. The opening of the second body paragraph, “Access to clean water is the right of tax paying citizen,” repeats the central claim rather than clearly linking the tax argument to the previous discussion. The final paragraph also repeats several points from the body. Use more precise referencing and make the relationship between each reason and your position explicit, while avoiding repeated conclusions.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “waterborne diseases,” “filtration plants,” “impurities,” and “healthcare systems.” These terms help communicate the subject clearly, and the meaning is generally easy to follow. There are, however, some inaccurate or unnatural choices and spelling errors that limit precision. For instance, “purified beverages” is not the natural term for drinking water, and “time taking process” is an awkward collocation. “Clean waters” is also less appropriate than the uncountable “clean water.” Check spelling in words such as “maneuver,” and choose collocations carefully. More consistently natural phrasing would show greater control of vocabulary while preserving your relevant technical terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional-style explanation of consequences and clauses introduced by “because” and “that.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors occur in agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries. For example, “dirty water affect people” needs subject–verb agreement, while “the right of tax paying citizen” needs an appropriate plural or article. The sentence beginning “Because consumers pay a lot of taxes” is a fragment when separated from the preceding sentence, and missing spaces after full stops occur in “human beings. Therefore” and “hepatitis.This.” Review agreement and article use, and connect dependent clauses to complete sentences. These corrections would improve accuracy without requiring more complicated structures.
