Student answer (Band 5.0)

Water, We are talking about main human necceresry daily thing. Its govroment main task to provide one of basic human rights for resident of country.

First of all if we talk abour if govroment should give it free of charge or chargable ?, to control people and let them use as much as water they need daily, we need to make it chargable, so they think twice before using water. being responsible is the way that govroment can control it by charging people if they use more than spesific number.

I we talk about how to prepare to provide clean water, its depend on countries, and some caountries find diffeculties to provide it due to lack of water soureces. addtionally it will be costable on govroment. and to cover return some of this costs will be through charging the residents.

in the other side of story, we have many countries that can not provide clean water to thier resindts and citizines. and this make big health problems. and for countries which care more about thier resident and citizines , we will find less health issues.

Lastly I will metion how govroment can add sources of clean water by making water dams in diffirent palces for rain and nutural sources of water,it can be useful for other things as well like prduce electric and make turisim place.

Concultion, the govroment should provide clean water but, need to charge residents, to control them. And each county need to have master plan to increase of clean water sources.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You take a clear position in the conclusion: clean water should be provided, but residents should be charged to control use. You also give relevant reasons, including conserving water, the cost of supply, unequal access, and possible new sources such as dams. However, the response only partly develops the central question of whether every home should receive water free of charge. The point about charging people who use more than a specific amount is promising, but it is not explained as a practical policy or supported with an example. The discussion of health problems and dams is also broad and does not clearly establish how it supports your position. Develop fewer points with clearer explanations and specific examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, several body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and signposts such as “First of all” and “Lastly” help identify stages of the discussion. However, the overall progression is not consistently clear: the paragraph beginning “in the other side of story” shifts to health issues without showing how this relates to charging for water, and the dams paragraph introduces a new idea late in the essay. Linking phrases are sometimes mechanical or unclear, and several sentences are joined by repeated “and” or full stops where the relationship between ideas needs to be made explicit. Organise the body around a small number of reasons and use clear references and transitions to show how each supports your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “human rights,” “health problems,” “water sources,” and “dams.” However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “necceresry,” “chargable,” “costable,” and “nutural sources.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “cover return some of this costs” and “increase of clean water sources.” These issues fit a response where vocabulary is basic and errors can strain the reader, even though the main topic is usually recognisable. Build accuracy with common topic collocations and check spelling; for example, use “cover the costs,” “natural water sources,” and “increase the supply of clean water.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, for example, “we need to make it chargable, so they think twice before using water.” However, control of sentence structure is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “Its govroment main task to provide one of basic human rights,” which lacks a clear grammatical structure, and “it’s depend on countries,” where the subject and verb form do not agree. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also unreliable, as in the opening fragment and the long sentence about dams. Practise complete subject–verb sentences, articles and agreement, then use shorter, accurately punctuated sentences before adding more complex clauses.
