Student answer (Band 5.0)

In contempory world, cleaning water is basic requirement to human right. however, every homes should have a water supply that is provided free of charge. I firmly agree with this statements because free of water supply should help in rigion area. I completely agree with this views, and this essay will examine the reasons with my appropriate examples.

To begin with, One of compalling reason is that, every home should have water supply that is provided free of charge. This is due to this free water is helpfull for poor people because everyone are not paying bill for water. Second reason is that, government should introduced supply water is free. This is because this water is helpful in village. For instance, every farming people used to much water for growing crops so free of water is assist to make a proper growth of crops.

On the other hand, water service is essential part in daily life. This is due to water are use in all purposes like cooking, washing clothes, bathing, cleaning homes etc. Moreover, water supply is also benificial to produced electricity. for example, On the river build the dam and genrator is attched with this dam this genrator is benificial for producing electricity and this is helpful for daily life.

However, Free of water is carried out some kind of drawbacks. One compalling disadvantages is that, significant number of peoples are missuse of free charge of water. This is due to, framing people have not much water in summer season. In addition, In a city area many people do waste of water in washing car, bathing, and all thing. In fact this is also affected to village area.

To conclude, free charge of water supply is also helpful for everyone. Although, water syetem is contain a free of charge but this is carry out some drawbacks. This free of water is not helpful for village people but also this water is created to much electricity and this is also benificial for daily life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a clear overall position in favour of free household water, and you include relevant points about affordability for poorer households, farming, daily needs and possible waste. The response also acknowledges a drawback, which shows some consideration of the issue. However, the argument is only partly developed: the farming example does not explain why household water should be free, and the discussion of electricity is not clearly connected to the proposal. The conclusion also contradicts the earlier argument by saying free water is “not helpful for village people.” To strengthen the response, explain the principle behind your position, develop fewer points with specific reasoning, and ensure the conclusion consistently answers whether every home should receive water free of charge. The 19 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, several body paragraphs and a conclusion, so there is a recognisable overall structure. Paragraphs generally group related points, such as daily uses of water and concerns about waste. However, progression is difficult to follow because ideas are repeated or loosely connected. For example, the opening states agreement twice, while “On the other hand” introduces further benefits rather than a contrasting view. Linking phrases such as “This is due to” and “Moreover” are used mechanically, and references like “this water” are sometimes unclear. The conclusion introduces a contradiction rather than resolving the argument. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, connect examples directly to that point, and reserve contrast markers for genuine opposing ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “basic human right,” “water supply,” “free of charge,” “farming” and “electricity,” which helps communicate the general topic. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “helpful,” “free of water” and “this water.” Frequent inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling make parts difficult to understand, as in “compalling reason,” “missuse,” “genrator” and “water syetem.” Some expressions are also unnatural, such as “every farming people” and “created to much electricity.” Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing access, affordability, conservation and public services, and check spelling and word forms. Prefer natural combinations such as “provide water free of charge” and “waste water.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “although” and “for instance.” However, control is limited: errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles and punctuation occur frequently and sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “every homes should have,” “everyone are not paying,” “government should introduced,” and “water are use.” Several sentences also join clauses without clear grammatical structure, particularly the explanation of the dam and generator. Capitalisation after full stops is inconsistent, and commas are often placed incorrectly. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses while checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms. For example, write “Everyone should be able to afford water” rather than “everyone are not paying bill for water.”
