Student answer (Band 5.5)
It's often argued that once of the basic human rights in to have access to clean water. Some people believe that it should be free of charge. Others argue that it should have a price. As fas as I'm concern, water should be provided free of charge. It's not a luxary to pay for. Moreover, providing it with a price could make some citizens with a financial issues drink dirty water which may cause numurous sickness.
One major reason why providing clean water for free is that the main reason why some sources become dirty is the industry and the government. So it should be one of their responsibility to provide clean water. It's not a luxary. While people can die because of the lack of the basic human rights, the government are making money by making some excuses about them cleaning water for citizens.
Furthermore, Not all the population has financial stability, some of indivuduals can barely pay for their rent and bills which is already a lot. Paying to have a clean water is a kind of unecessary treatement.
Admittedly, some poeple think that cleaning water is a service that has be done by someone and he should get paid for doing it. Although this is understandable, and can be applied in other things. However, you can't apply at a nessecity that none can live without.
In conclusion, although some people think that having a clean water should not be free of charge, I beliver it's a right of any human in this life, since it's even a right for any animals.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you support free access to clean water, and you give relevant reasons concerning affordability, public responsibility and the consequences of unsafe water. The paragraph beginning “Not all the population has financial stability” adds a useful point about household costs, while the concession acknowledges that water treatment involves paid work. However, several claims remain broad or unclear. For example, the assertion that industry and government are responsible for dirty sources is not explained or supported with a specific example, and the response does not distinguish free basic access from the costs of treating and delivering water. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation or example, and address the opposing view more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction states your view, body paragraphs present reasons and a counterargument, and the conclusion restates your position. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “Admittedly” help signal relationships between points. However, progression is sometimes repetitive: the idea that water is a necessity and “not a luxury” appears more than once without being extended. Some connections are also awkward, particularly “Although this is understandable, and can be applied in other things. However,” where the relationship between the concession and your rebuttal is unclear. Organise each paragraph around one distinct reason, use references that clearly identify what “it” means, and connect the counterargument and response in a single, logically complete sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “basic human rights,” “financial stability,” “dirty water,” and “lack” of a necessity, so the main ideas are generally understandable. There is some attempt to express abstract arguments, such as describing water as a “necessity” and discussing citizens’ financial circumstances. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision, including “luxary,” “numurous sickness,” “unecessary treatement,” and “a price.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “making some excuses about them cleaning water.” Build a more accurate set of topic collocations and check spelling carefully; precise wording will make your reasoning clearer and more persuasive.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple statements and longer sentences, including a concession beginning “Admittedly” and a reason introduced by “Moreover.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur in basic sentence patterns as well as more complex attempts. Examples include “once of the basic human rights in to have access,” “As fas as I'm concern,” and “the government are making money,” which show problems with sentence construction, verb forms and subject–verb agreement. The sentence beginning “Although this is understandable” is also left as an incomplete construction before “However.” Practise building complete sentences with accurate subjects and verbs, then combine ideas using subordinate clauses. Careful proofreading for articles, agreement and punctuation would improve readability.
