Student answer (Band 5.5)
Clean water is te most necessary thing in our life , moreever , It is human basic right as well. Every home sholud have a free of charge water supply to live a healthy life. In my opinion, I strongly agree with this stance and encourge this free access of water supply.
To commence with the significance of clean water, it is our primary requirement in our daily matters. Every individual need to have eight glasses of water a day , consequently , the gut health is improved and proper digestion takes place. Futhermore , in a survey in China , people who are living in slums and do not have clean water , tend to get more diseases.
Moreover, household items require clean water for preparation of food in the kitchen. Mostly vegetables need a better wash before cooking , however, the food stuffs like fish and chicken need in depth wash to remove the blood from the organism. In a survey , US present that many of large intestine diseases spread by low hyeginic treatment of the food.
In my opinion , considering the facts of utilization of clean water , I strong agree with usage of clean water and i believe water should be available as a free resource for everyone. The drinkable water is the major human right and many under developed countries like Africa lack this blessing. Many countries like Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirate arrange drinkable water for the whole country but people pay for this and it should be discouraged as well. The Free supply of water should be ensured in every part of the globe and consider this as rising awaeness for developed countries.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that households should receive clean water without charge, and you give relevant reasons about drinking water, food preparation, and health. However, the response only partly develops the central proposal. Much of the discussion explains why clean water is important, rather than why the supply should be free or how this could be provided. The examples about China and the United States are vague and unsupported, and the reference to countries where people pay for water is not fully connected to your argument. To strengthen the response, explain who should fund free household supply, address a possible concern such as cost or waste, and use specific, clearly explained examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs on health and food preparation, and a concluding statement of your view. Linking expressions such as “Furthermore” and “Moreover” help signal additions. However, progression is limited because the body paragraphs mainly list uses and benefits of clean water, without building a clear argument about free provision. Some connections are awkward or unclear: the discussion of food hygiene moves to intestinal diseases without explaining the link, and the final paragraph shifts from water as a right to examples of countries that charge. Use topic sentences that directly support your position, develop each point in sequence, and make the relationship between examples and claims explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “clean water,” “free of charge,” “digestion,” and “human right,” and you attempt more specific expressions such as “household items” and “drinkable water.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes meaning less clear. For example, “household items require clean water” does not precisely express that water is needed for cooking, while “low hyeginic treatment” is difficult to interpret. Spelling errors such as “moreever,” “encourge,” and “awaeness” are also noticeable. Build accuracy by learning common collocations and checking spelling, and choose precise terms such as “food preparation” and “poor hygiene.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a reason-and-result structure with “consequently” and a relative clause in “people who are living in slums.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences awkward or difficult to follow. Examples include “Every individual need” instead of “needs,” “people who are living … tend” where the subject and verb do not agree, and “many of large intestine diseases spread,” which lacks a clear grammatical structure. Punctuation and capitalisation are also unreliable, particularly the spaces before commas and the inconsistent use of “I.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries before adding more complex clauses.
