Student answer (Band 5.5)
Water is very crucial for the survial of the humans, also it must be clean and safe for drinking because it is a basis right that every individual has been access to clean water, however, it is important that the water supply ought to be free of cost for the people of the society. I completely agree with the viewpoint. Let us further delve into the topice.
To commence with, goverment should pay attention towards the water bodies of the country. Also, on the water supply of the communities because nowadays, we are paying a huge amount of money for the clean water every month in the form of basis utility charges. In result, we can recieve the water which was not well treated or purified and sometimes unpleasant smell present in it, this concern is raising day by day. Every indiviuals have there personal water purifing system at home which was high in cost. Therefore, everyone can't afford it and instead of it they are putting their life on risk.
In contrast, sometimes the drainage water was mixed into the water due to the poor management of drainage and water supply pipes. In result it can cause various serious illness such as food poisioning and stomach issues. People can easily came into the contact of harmful microorganisms which cause diseases.
In conculsion, it is a basis right of every humanbeing to get the safe water supply which is free of cost and goverment authorities are highly responsible for this ongoing issue and goverment should take some strict actions for this, otherwise it can impact us in a long run.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you completely agree that households should receive clean water free of charge. You give relevant reasons, including the cost of monthly charges and purification systems, and the health risks when drainage contaminates the supply. These points address the question and are supported with some explanation. However, the discussion focuses more on poor water quality and government responsibility than on why the supply itself should be free. The claim that people pay a great deal but still receive untreated water could be explained more directly, and the health examples would benefit from a specific illustration. Develop the affordability argument and explain how free provision could be funded or managed to make your case more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally move from cost and purification to contamination and health. This gives the reader an overall route through your argument. However, some linking is mechanical or inaccurate. “To commence with” and “In contrast” do not clearly express the relationships between the ideas, since the second body paragraph adds another supporting reason rather than presenting a contrast. “In result” is also repeated, and the opening sentence joins several ideas without clear punctuation. Use simpler, more precise transitions and make each paragraph’s main point explicit. Clearer links between the evidence and the claim about free supply would improve progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “water supply,” “utility charges,” “purified,” “drainage” and “harmful microorganisms.” These choices help communicate the main concerns and show an attempt to use topic-specific language. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, for example “survial,” “basis right,” “recieve,” “poisioning” and “conculsion.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “pay attention towards” and “putting their life on risk.” These issues sometimes make the reader pause, although the overall meaning remains understandable. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations as complete phrases; this will make your vocabulary more accurate and natural without requiring unnecessarily complex words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a cause-and-effect explanation about contaminated water and illness. The main ideas are usually understandable, but control of sentence structure and grammar is inconsistent. The opening sentence is a run-on, and “every individual has been access” has an incorrect verb pattern. There are also problems with agreement and forms in “Every individuals have there personal water purifing system” and “People can easily came into the contact.” These examples show that complex ideas are not yet expressed reliably. Practise separating long sentences and checking subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles and pronouns. More accurate control of these patterns would make your argument easier to follow.
