Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You state a clear overall view in the opening—“I totally agree”—and give relevant reasons, including the importance of water for health and the difficulty poorer people may face in accessing it. The example about children wasting water also shows awareness of a counterargument. However, the response only partially develops the issue of whether every home should receive water free of charge: the health benefits are asserted rather than explained, and the example does not establish why free provision should or should not be universal. The conclusion that “both arguments is right” also weakens your stated agreement instead of resolving the discussion. To strengthen the response, explain how free access could be funded and address water conservation while maintaining a consistent position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response is divided into paragraphs that broadly separate your position, an opposing view, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify the main stages of the discussion. However, progression within and between these sections is often difficult to follow. Connectors such as “While the other hand” and “And lastly” are inaccurate or mechanical, and several ideas are placed together without clear links—for example, the claims about body water, disease, and energy. References such as “these side and both arguments” are also unclear. Use a more deliberate sequence: state one main point per paragraph, explain it, and then give a relevant example. Clear transitions such as “However” and “For this reason” would help show how each point relates to your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “basic need,” “human health,” “free of cost,” and “vital,” and you attempt to discuss both access and waste. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, particularly “clean water” and “everybody.” Frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices sometimes make the meaning difficult to understand, as in “neccery,” “dieace,” “energat ic,” and “suppourt.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “access to a clean water” and “this movement” for an observed event. Build a small set of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and collocations; this will make your ideas clearer without relying on repetition.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to express opinions, give reasons, and describe an experience, but sentence structures are mostly simple or incomplete, and attempts to connect clauses are often faulty. For example, “Because this is a basic need for every body” is a fragment, while “The wealthy people is help to others” has problems with subject–verb agreement and verb form. Articles and sentence boundaries are also frequently inaccurate, as in “access to a clean water” and the opening, where several sentences run together or lack appropriate punctuation. These errors can make the relationships between ideas hard to follow. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then combine them using accurate conjunctions. Check agreement, articles, and punctuation when editing.
