Student answer (Band 4.5)
In recent years, water has become a subject of considerable discussion. some people believe that water supply provide free of cost. I strongly agree that water is a basic need for all our world so, government provide clean water for every homes
To commence with, I completely agree with this view for several reasons. First and foremost, Clean water has basic need for human to all our world. This is a contemporary era huamn cannot servive with water so authorties must take action for water to mantain the need for people. For instance, if masses have dont clean water for them. we felt the numerous diseases. I reckon that government should take the action against the people who sold the dirty water.
On the other side of the flip, There are number of reasons in this topic people must faced in there life. Futhermore, who people supply the water in every homes. Masses check the quality of water. If water was dirty so human must take the action against the water supplier. For example, government should provide the free of cost water for every homes. so difinitely individuals are happly for their life because we cannot felt the any diseas that can effect your health. Clean water maintain your health and aslo active their mind.
In conclusion, I agree that clean water. water is a basic need for humans. This is mainly because individuals do not felt the particular diseas that can effect your health and also maintain the cholesterol level beacuse cholesterol level is a big role for your body.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is stated clearly in the opening and conclusion: you agree that clean water should be provided to homes. You also give relevant reasons, including preventing disease and protecting people’s health, and mention government responsibility. However, the response only partially develops the task. The discussion of water quality and suppliers is difficult to follow, and the point about cholesterol appears without explanation or a clear link to free water. The opposing-side paragraph does not present a clear counterargument; it mostly repeats that water should be free. To strengthen the response, explain how free provision would work, support each main reason with a specific example, and keep every point directly connected to the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a basic paragraph structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the reader can identify your overall position. You also attempt linking expressions such as “First and foremost,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear, and several linking phrases do not show the relationship between ideas accurately. For example, “On the other side of the flip” introduces a paragraph that continues to support your position rather than presenting a contrasting view. Repetition of the claim that water should be free also limits development. Organise each body paragraph around one clear reason, then explain and illustrate it, using simpler, more precise transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “clean water,” “diseases,” “quality” and “water supplier,” so the subject is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “water supply provide free of cost,” “maintain the cholesterol level” and “we felt the numerous diseases.” Spelling errors such as “huamn,” “servive” and “diseas” also reduce clarity. Aim to learn common collocations for this topic and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help you explain the practical and health-related reasons for your view without relying on repeated phrases such as “basic need” and “free of cost.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a conditional idea beginning “if masses have…” and a reason introduced by “because.” However, control is inconsistent, and attempts at more complex sentences are often faulty. For example, “water supply provide free of cost” lacks correct subject–verb agreement and sentence structure, while “Clean water has basic need for human” is missing grammatical elements. Verb forms and tense are also unreliable in “we felt” and “if water was dirty,” and sentence boundaries and capitalisation are inconsistent. These errors can make some sentences difficult to interpret. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clear clauses using “because,” “if” and “when”; check articles, agreement and punctuation during revision.
