Student answer (Band 5.5)
As we all know that purified water is a basic need of living being and getting approach of it is our essential privilege. So, that each house should have a water supply which is free of cost.I agree with this statment because of some reasons that i will explain in my essay.
Authorities should have to supply fully free water at every door step because of several reasons.Firsty, we know that human body consist of 70 to 80 percent of water and this water this very usefull to carried out all body function properly and accurately to maintain a balanced physical and biochemical life.Futhermore, water is also crucial for making a life heathy. For example, for making different kinds of food which is essintial for the surival of organisms also for baking which keeps a man far away from various diseases.
Morever, purified water is important for all living organisms to live long. Some countries not have access to clean water in their rural areas as a result of that the ratio of epidemic disease are so high in that area like some waterborn diseases(Typhoid and Cholera) that spread due to intake of unpurified water. This affects the population of the state badly because people die at the early ages of their life and remaing of them move to the other nation.this creat a great imapct on inhabitand living physically and mentally. For example in some parts of india in 2016, moslty people die due to taking unhealthy water

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that households should receive clean water without charge, and you give relevant reasons about health and waterborne disease. The examples of typhoid and cholera help connect the issue to real consequences. However, the response addresses the proposal only partially: it explains why clean water is essential, but does not discuss why the supply should be free rather than paid for, or how governments could provide it. Several claims, including the reference to deaths in India in 2016, are not explained or supported. The response is also six words below the required minimum. Develop the affordability and public-responsibility argument, and extend each example with a clear explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic structure: an introduction states your view, followed by paragraphs giving reasons and examples. Sequencing words such as “Firsty,” “Furthermore,” and “Moreover” signal the intended progression. However, the overall development is difficult to follow because ideas within paragraphs are crowded together, and the final paragraph ends abruptly without a conclusion. Some links are mechanical or unclear; for example, “as a result of that” does not clearly connect the lack of rural water access to the disease statistics, and “this affects the population” has an uncertain reference. Use one main point per paragraph, make cause-and-effect links explicit, and add a concluding sentence that restates your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “purified water,” “epidemic disease,” “waterborn diseases,” and “biochemical life.” These choices show an effort to discuss health impacts beyond basic terms. However, the range is limited and many spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “getting approach of it,” “making a life heathy,” and “inhabitand living.” Some expressions are also imprecise: “free of cost” is understandable, but “provided free of charge” is more natural in this context. Focus on accurate topic-specific phrases and check spelling carefully; clearer vocabulary will make your arguments more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons and examples, but complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “Authorities should have to supply” combines modal forms incorrectly, while “human body consist” has a subject–verb agreement error. The opening fragment, “As we all know that…,” is also not a complete, well-formed sentence, and punctuation is often missing or misplaced, particularly around sentence boundaries. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly attached supporting clause. Check agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence endings before adding further complexity.
