Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, every persone have right to have clean water and it is basic human needs. The authorities should provide facilities to every individuals of country in free of cost. I agree with this statement, government secure budgets for this facility and construct filtration plant for water purifying.

The many countries are sufering from water crises. In a country sides, poor people not aford to pay for fresh water. Because of that their children's have diseases from birth and many sufferd death. The whole countries government should take stepes and provide filltered water. As a result, people thankfull to authorities and leave peacefullt healthy life style.

However, governments also take steps toward culpruts people who poluting water with hazardius chemicals. Many people argue that it cost to much to set up filltration plants. But, life if more important than money, government need to plan perticular budget for this aminities. I believe that the people have rights to have clean water in their day to day life, it is the basic needs. In a country like, the Swizeland, clean water is the free of cost for every one and even it also high in minerals and irons which is boost over immunity. Moreover, there is common to drink water beacuse it is filltured and has low ph, so it not harm human body.

In conclusion, the clean water is the basic human needs. So, the government have reasponsibilty to provide fresh water in the every home. They must punish the culpruts who polluting waters by chemicals and harmfull substens.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the introduction: you agree that governments should provide clean water, and you return to this view in the conclusion. You address the central issue with relevant reasons, including affordability for rural residents, health risks, and the cost of filtration infrastructure. The reference to Switzerland also attempts to illustrate your point. This meets the task well, but development is uneven: the claims about children becoming ill “from birth” and the benefits of water being “low ph” are not explained or supported, and the counterargument about cost is answered only briefly. To strengthen the response further, explain how free household supply could be funded and use a more precise, well-supported example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons and a counterargument, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “As a result,” “However,” and “Moreover” help signal relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow. For example, the discussion moves from pollution and filtration costs to Switzerland’s mineral content and pH without clearly connecting these points to the main argument. Some links are also mechanical, and references such as “this facility” and “it” are not always precise. Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it before moving on; this would make the argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “water crises,” “filtration plants,” “hazardous chemicals,” and “immunity.” These choices show an effort to discuss public health and infrastructure rather than relying only on basic terms. However, spelling and word-choice errors are frequent and sometimes make the reader pause, as in “persone,” “suffered death,” “culpruts,” and “aminities.” Several phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “in free of cost,” “peacefullt healthy life style,” and “low ph.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations, such as “provide water free of charge” and “lead a healthy life.” Prefer precise, familiar wording when unsure of a technical term.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple sentences and some attempts at more complex structures, including a conditional-style explanation beginning “Because of that” and a contrast introduced by “However.” This gives the response some structural variety. However, errors in sentence formation and basic grammar occur frequently and can make meaning harder to process. Examples include “every persone have,” “The whole countries government should take stepes,” and “the government have reasponsibilty.” The sentence beginning “I believe that the people have rights” also joins several ideas with commas rather than clearly separating them. Practise subject–verb agreement, articles, plural forms, and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence to ensure it has a clear subject and verb.
