Student answer (Band 5.5)
For living many neccesities are required and access to clean water is one of them. There is no wrong in saying that access to free clean water is basic human right and every home should get it.I firmly agree that every home should be supplied with clean water, free of charge regardless of the communal difference.
One of the key reason that support my merit of access to clean water as basich human right, is vital role of water in agriculture.Clean water is essential for farming and sustaining food chains for city and countryside consumers. Farmers used plenty of water and seeding mainly require clean water for better crops production. If farmers have to pay to get access of clean water, cost of food production would be drastically increased and it would eventually increase the inflation.Hence, profit margins from food exportation would be plummeted. This will not only cause problem to farmers but consumers will be effected substantially, by paying twice of the actual. Furthermore, If access to clean water is not free and public have to pay for it, majority of middle-class families will suffer.Such circumstances would force them to use contaminated water and contaminated water is root cause for deadly diseases. For instance, dysentry is mainly caused by contaminated water. This will lead to surged health economic burden on citizens and government as well.To conclude, clean water should be provided to every citizen.Nonetheless clean water is essential for healthy life and living. To cope up with the its production costs and shortage threats government should invest on building sustainable and economic water storage projects for fullfilling basic human rights and their well-being.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you firmly agree that every home should receive clean water free of charge. You give relevant reasons, especially the link between water access, food production and public health, and the example of dysentery helps illustrate the risk of contaminated water. However, the agricultural argument is not fully explained: the discussion shifts from household water charges to farmers’ production costs and food exports without clarifying how free household supply would address those costs. The claim that families might pay “twice of the actual” is also unclear. Develop the connection between each reason and the proposal, and explain how the government could fund universal free provision while managing shortages.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, moving from a clear introduction to supporting reasons and a concluding recommendation. Linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “For instance,” and “To conclude” help signal the direction of the argument. However, the body is presented as one long paragraph, so the shift from agriculture and food prices to household health risks is not clearly separated. Some connections are also abrupt: “Hence” introduces a claim about export profits that is not fully established, and the conclusion introduces storage projects without developing them earlier. Use separate body paragraphs for the two main reasons, and make each transition show the precise relationship between the claim and its support.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “food chains,” “contaminated water,” “inflation,” and “health economic burden,” and the main ideas remain understandable. There are also several inaccurate or unnatural choices that reduce precision, such as “communal difference,” “seeding,” “profit margins … would be plummeted,” and “paying twice of the actual.” Spelling errors, including “neccesities,” “basich,” and “dysentry,” further affect the impression of control. Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than more elaborate wording: for example, describe the cost of food production rising and families paying more for food. Proofreading spelling and word forms will also make your vocabulary clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple statements and attempts at complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If farmers have to pay … cost … would be…” and a relative clause in “water … which is root cause.” This gives the response some variety, and the overall meaning is generally recoverable. Some grammatical errors remain, however. Examples include missing articles in “basic human right” and “root cause,” agreement in “One of the key reason,” and the awkward construction “should invest on building.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “them. There” and the long sequence beginning “This will not only cause problem.” Review articles, singular/plural agreement, and clause boundaries, then check each sentence for a complete and natural grammatical pattern.
