Student answer (Band 5.5)
Clean water is crucial debate among the people. Some people think that provide to everyone clean water supply without charges. From my point of view, clean and clear water get in life is basic rights of everyone, but it is also best steps to save water for future generation by taking amount on water supply.
Water is important part of human life because without it humans not live even a single day. Every person have full right to access clean water without charges because it is not possible for every individuals in socities to bought water. For example, people from desert and background area are very poor and they have not access to water. If they start to bought high quantity of water it effects on their financially condition. Moreover, pure and free water available to people maintain their health. Because, people start to drink dirty water due to fear of pay water bill as a result diseases are spread among the people which effect on community.
On the other hand, if the government start to charge for water supply, it helps in preservation of water for future generation. For instance, when every person has realized that they must pay money on every drop of water, then they should try to use less water, which help in save of water. Furthermore, it helps in equal supply of water because people bought and use water according to their need.
In conclusion, I believe that government should make policy to provide water according to condition. The places where people are not afford water to supply water without charges and in other socities where people afford supply water on charge which not only preserve the water, but also fulfill the need of people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address the central question and present a qualified position: water should be free for people who cannot afford it, while charging others may encourage conservation. The reasons about health, affordability and reducing waste are relevant, and the examples of poorer communities and paying for each drop help explain your view. However, the position differs somewhat from the prompt’s broad claim that every home should receive water free of charge, and the conclusion’s policy of charging according to circumstances could be stated more clearly from the beginning. Some points, especially how charges would preserve water and ensure equal supply, are asserted rather than fully explained. Develop these ideas with a specific mechanism or example and make your overall position consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting considerations, and a conclusion. The progression from the benefits of free access to the possible conservation benefits of charging is easy to follow. Connectors such as “For example,” “Moreover,” and “On the other hand” help signal relationships, and this organisation is a strength. At times, however, linking feels mechanical, and some connections between claims need clearer explanation—for instance, how charging leads to “equal supply.” The final paragraph also introduces a conditional policy without fully tying it back to the earlier arguments. Use referencing more precisely and build each paragraph around a clear claim followed by explanation and evidence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “basic rights,” “preservation,” “future generation,” and “health.” There are also attempts to express more specific concepts, such as “equal supply of water.” However, word choice and collocation errors are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less clear: “clean and clear water get in life,” “bought water,” and “effects on their financially condition” are not natural expressions. Some wording is repetitive, particularly references to water and people, and several phrases appear to be formed by translating directly rather than using established English combinations. Build a bank of accurate topic collocations and check word forms; for example, use “access to clean water” and “afford to buy water.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If they start to bought high quantity of water…” and a result clause beginning “as a result.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but control is limited: errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction occur often enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “Every person have full right” needs subject–verb agreement and an article, while “which help in save of water” has problems with the verb form and clause structure. The sentence beginning “Because, people start…” is also incorrectly punctuated as a fragment. Practise accurate basic clauses first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
