Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is a basic human right that they should be provided clean water. Every home shoud have a source of clean water provided by Govt free of charge. I strongly agree with that clean water is a basic need of every home and should be freel sourced.
I firmly hold the opinion, clean water is a first human right and must be accessible. Clean water play a vital in good human health and have many benefits. Using clean water for drinking and cooking result in hyeginic food that control many harmful diseases. Clean water should also be use for growth of vegetables and fruits because these are main source of foods or human. Moreover, purify water should be use for drinking of animal as well. Furthermore, Purify water should be accessible in every home of urban and rural areas. As this water use in every daily tasks like cooking, drinking, washing and other purposes, so govt must make its accessbility to everyone. For instance, many homes in major cities in china have clean water supply rather than that unpurify water. Now, a control in health issues can be seen in those cities.
Although providing clean water to citizen is basic human right but we should also have a look to poor families who are unable to purchase clran water. From my prospective, Every state should have some policies regarding clean water that will be helpful for thee families. I strongly agree that govt should provide purify water to every home of citizens without charging any fee. Although cleaning and purifying water is cost taking and challenging process but it will result in less health issues if we freely sourced to everyone. By enabling this, most of our hospitals will be less crowded by individuals. To an illustration i would like to give example of Austrailian govt. for Last few year they install proper water suplply for every citizens home without fee. As a result only few people have health issues at end of year because of clean water.
To sum up, I strongly agree that access of clean water to every human is basic right. this clean water is use in daily routeen and will result in less ratio of diseases. I also believe that providing clean water without any fee will be better rather then rush in hospitals due to unclean water which is used by citizens for drinking and cooking.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction and conclusion: you strongly agree that clean water should be supplied to every home without charge. You address the human-rights and health aspects, and examples involving city water supplies and government provision help support your view. This meets the task well, while showing some of the fuller development expected at the next level. However, several points remain general or are not fully explained: for example, the claim that clean water for animals and crops supports your argument could be linked more clearly to household access, and the Australian example needs specific detail to make it convincing. Develop these examples and explain how free provision could be funded or managed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the main position is easy to follow. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” “Although” and “To sum up” help signal relationships between ideas. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and some connections are unclear. The sentence beginning “Although providing clean water to citizen is basic human right but…” combines contrasting structures awkwardly, while “For instance” introduces an example whose connection to the preceding point is not fully explained. The conclusion repeats earlier claims rather than drawing the argument together. Use clearer topic sentences and make each example explicitly support the paragraph’s central point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “human right,” “purifying water,” “health issues” and “accessible,” and you attempt some less common expressions. However, the range and control are limited by repeated wording and frequent spelling, word-form and collocation problems. Examples include “freely sourced,” “cost taking,” “hygienic food” and “rush in hospitals”; these choices can make the intended meaning less clear or sound unnatural. Spelling errors such as “hyeginic,” “accessbility” and “Austrailian” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural topic collocations, such as “provide a reliable supply,” “waterborne diseases” and “public health costs,” and check spelling and word forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “although” and “as,” so there is some structural variety. However, complex constructions are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries occur throughout. For example, “Clean water play a vital” needs subject–verb agreement and a complete phrase, while “these are main source of foods” has article and number errors. The sentence “Although providing clean water to citizen is basic human right but…” also has an incorrect clause pattern. These errors sometimes make the reader pause, even though your overall meaning is generally recoverable. Practise accurate sentence patterns first, then proofread for agreement, articles and complete clauses.
