Student answer (Band 5.0)

In every home we should give essintal water and give purfy by goverment. Water is very improtant for every human life without waster no one can survive in theri life so it is basic for every human being .

So I agree with the statement because water is one of the basic need for human so government should not take any cost they provide us free. In many area water is not clean and many people suffer lots of problem because of dust water. They got stomatch stone if water is not clean that time government should help for public and they purify water by every area and gives water free . Just in case if u charge water than not every one pay for water u know that water is given by god gifted for the human being so u chould not charge for it . So i agree with your opion water should be free for every one. In our nepal water is the second richest country so we don't need to hegitage about finished water. If we drink water per day 5 leter that decrease our disease and make us more healthy but we need pure water not like unhygenic water because it effect our stomatch pain. So we should care about what kind of water we drink we should think about this and always be great for free water don't waste water help to other when they become thristy you should give them water and be kind with every one.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you agree that households should receive clean water without charge, and you give relevant reasons, including water’s importance for survival and the risk of illness from contaminated supplies. The reference to Nepal also attempts to connect the argument to a real context. However, the response only partly develops the task: it does not explain how a free supply would be funded or address possible limits on water resources, and several points are repeated rather than supported with specific examples. The claim that Nepal is “the second richest country” in water is not explained or linked clearly to the policy. Develop two or three reasons with clearer evidence and qualification to make the argument more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response follows a basic overall order: it introduces the importance of water, states agreement, and then gives supporting points. Some links, such as “because” and “So,” help show relationships between ideas. However, almost the entire argument is presented as one long paragraph, so the reader has little guidance about where one reason ends and another begins. Connectors are also repetitive, and the final advice about not wasting water and helping thirsty people shifts away from the question of whether household supply should be free. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons, and conclusion, and make each paragraph develop one main point with clear links.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use a basic range of relevant vocabulary, including “basic human being,” “clean,” “purify,” and “government,” so the central topic is generally understandable. However, vocabulary is repetitive and several word choices or spellings make meaning difficult to follow, such as “dust water,” “stomatch stone,” and “hegitage about finished water.” Phrases such as “water is given by god gifted” are also not natural English. Aim for accurate topic-specific expressions and check spelling carefully; for example, use “contaminated water,” “waterborne illness,” and “water scarcity.” More precise wording would help you explain your reasons without repeating “water” and “free” so often.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example, “In many area water is not clean and many people suffer lots of problem,” and you use simple statements to make your position clear. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries occur frequently. Examples include “every home we should give,” “government should not take any cost they provide us free,” and “if u charge water than not every one pay.” These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas hard to interpret. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “although,” and “if”; also check subject–verb agreement and punctuation.
