Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address the topic by arguing that clean water is essential and that governments should provide it to households without charge. References to health, hydration, filtration and household access are relevant. However, the response does not consistently make the key link between water being a human right and why the supply should be free; much of the discussion explains why clean water matters rather than developing the case for free provision. The position is also not stated clearly at the outset, and several claims, such as the connection between hepatitis B and unclean water, are inaccurate or unsupported. To strengthen the response, state your agreement directly and develop two clear reasons, supported by accurate examples and an explanation of how free provision would benefit people.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response contains related points about health, government responsibility and water treatment, so a general line of thought can be identified. However, ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and the writing forms long, loosely connected sequences rather than a logical progression. Connectors such as “furthermore,” “therefore” and “in additionally” are repeated or used where the relationship between ideas is unclear. For example, the discussion moves from hydration to government filtration plants and then to boiling water without showing how each point supports the argument about free household supply. Organise the essay into an introduction, separate body paragraphs with one main point each, and a conclusion. Use linking phrases selectively and make references such as “it” and “which” clearly refer to a specific idea.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “basic human right,” “filtration plant,” “hydrated,” “kidney system” and “lead,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and many words or phrases are repeated, particularly “play a vital role,” “body” and “every citizenship.” Several inaccurate or misspelled forms make meaning harder to follow, including “hepatitus,” “stess free” and “chrages.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “clean filter water” and “clean stone things in our blood circulation.” Aim for precise, natural collocations and check spelling. Replacing repeated general phrases with terms such as “public water supply,” “water treatment” and “access to safe drinking water” would make the argument clearer and more appropriate to the task.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

There are attempts to connect ideas in longer sentences, but sentence structures are mostly uncontrolled, and frequent errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. For example, “everyone should drinks” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, while “our mind contains ninety percentage of water” and “other tissues also has” show problems with agreement and sentence construction. Clauses are often joined without clear boundaries, as in the opening sequence, which makes it difficult to identify complete sentences. Articles, plurals and verb forms also need more consistent control. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine related ideas using accurate conjunctions. Check that each sentence has a clear subject and verb, and use full stops to separate distinct points.
