Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you support providing clean water to every home without charge, and both body paragraphs give relevant reasons. You explain water’s importance for survival and daily activities, then connect safe water access with health and fairness. The Bangladesh example also helps illustrate how water costs can affect low-income families. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained: for instance, the link between free provision and reducing contaminated-water use needs a clearer explanation, and the discussion of equality repeats the general benefit without a specific illustration. The conclusion is incomplete and does not fully restate your reasoning. Developing these points and finishing the conclusion would make the response more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs organised around separate reasons, and an attempted conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “For example,” and “In addition” help show relationships between ideas. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. In the second body paragraph, several benefits—health, equality, neighbourhood wellbeing, and reducing the gap between households—are placed together without a clear progression. The phrase “Without the access of our society…” is difficult to follow, and the final sentence breaks off, weakening the ending. Use clearer topic sentences, explain each point before moving to the next, and make references such as “it” or “this” unmistakably clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “essential,” “deprived,” “contaminated water,” “waterborne diseases,” and “disadvantaged households.” These choices show an attempt to express ideas beyond basic everyday language. However, inaccurate spelling and word choice are frequent enough to make parts of the response less clear, as in “hygine,” “resourses,” “contamiated,” and “equiality.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “access of safe water” and “improve our health condition.” Aim to learn vocabulary in accurate phrases, for example “access to safe water” and “improve public health,” and proofread spelling carefully. More precise wording would help your ideas sound clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the contrastive construction “This can not only improve our health condition but also prevent…” and sentences beginning with “Moreover” and “Therefore.” This gives the response some structural variety. However, errors in sentence construction and grammatical forms are frequent and sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “In all basic human right,” “every families have,” and “if they have pay high water bill.” The final sentence is incomplete, and punctuation and spacing are inconsistent. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and verb patterns, then check that every sentence has a complete main clause. Greater control of these forms would make your arguments easier to read.
