Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is often argued that clean water is the basic need of human right. Other people contend that water clean water now a days is a rare thing therefore it could not access free of charge to every home. I firmly believe that clean and pure filterd water should be available to every home because it is the responsibilty of government for the betterment of public health and it will cause benefits to avoid the patients burden on hospital who suffers many diseases by drinking unhealthy water.

The principal reason why I hold this point is that the responsibility of government for the betterment of public health because public health is came under the responsibilities of government. For example in Khan Musalman there are many filter plants are arranged by the local government and all most everyone can gain this water and eveyone can facilitate by this plant. This has great effects on society that everyone gain pure and clean water so the environment remain clean and safe by harmful diseases.

Another significant reson is that health and equality because everyone needs of clean water. For instance, if no one equally gains rights to drink the clean water than people start to drink dirty water ultimately they fell ill and they become unexpected burden on hospitals to traet them and throughly it also effect the budget of health both individually and publically.

In conclusion clean and water is the basic rights if we snatch it from public it cause many bad outcoms. We try our best to deliver free water to every home and avoid drink dirty water.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you support providing clean water to every home, and you give relevant reasons concerning public health and equal access. The examples of local filter plants and the pressure dirty water can place on hospitals help address the question. However, the argument is not developed evenly. The first reason repeats that public health is the government’s responsibility, while the example does not explain how a free household supply would work. The second point about equality is relevant but would benefit from a specific example or further explanation. To strengthen the response, address the cost or practical challenges implied by the opposing view, then explain why your position remains preferable.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs with separate reasons, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “The principal reason,” “Another significant reason,” and “In conclusion” make the organisation easy to follow. However, connections between ideas are sometimes mechanical, and some references are unclear. For example, “This has great effects on society” does not specify which effects, and the final sentence shifts from the argument about free provision to advice about avoiding dirty water. Improve progression by making each paragraph’s main point explicit, linking examples directly to that point, and ensuring the conclusion restates your argument rather than introducing a new recommendation.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “public health,” “filter plants,” “equal rights,” and “burden on hospitals,” which helps communicate the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems make parts of the response difficult to interpret. Examples include “clean and pure filterd water,” “patients burden,” and “unexpected burden”; these expressions are either repetitive or do not convey the intended meaning naturally. Spelling errors such as “responsibilty,” “reson,” and “outcoms” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise range around water access, public services, and health impacts, and check spelling and collocations during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a conditional structure with “if.” This gives the response some variety, and the overall meaning is generally recoverable. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in longer sentences. For example, “public health is came under the responsibilities of government” has an incorrect verb construction, while “if no one equally gains rights … than people start” has problems with clause structure and verb agreement. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “clean water is the basic rights.” Practise forming accurate complex sentences and check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles, and punctuation before submitting.
