Student answer (Band 5.5)

Water in basic need for survival of every human and access to clean water is everyone basic right. I am agree with the statement that every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge.

Nowadays, in most countries of warld a large group of poeple is facing water scarcity, as will as they have access to clean water for drinking. Moreover, humans are getting fresh water after doing alot strugles or purchase by spending excessive money. However, to overcome the issue government should have provide this basic need to everyone without any cost.

Furthermore, when public recieve clean water for free this will lead to improve their health and reduce the diseases caused by drinking lees water also by drinking dirty water. In addition, this process also save the finace of individuals which they spend to buy water and help them to stablize thier financial conditions. For instance, before 2018 our village was facing a major issue of fresh water for drinking because there was no permanent resources available to privide clean water to every home. In 2018, a 2500 litre concrete water tank was build in town with the financial assistance of local goverment which store rain water and every home was facilitated with a water conection, however this process sloved the villagers problem and everyone easily access fresh water.

In conclusion to this, providing acces of fresh water to people without charging any cost can help to build more healthy public as will as society and save the money of peoples which they spend on other thigs to fullfil thier needs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear from the introduction: you agree that every home should receive clean water free of charge, and the conclusion restates this view. You give relevant reasons, including improved health and reduced household spending, and the village water-tank example provides useful support. This covers the main parts of the task and shows some development beyond simply stating an opinion. However, the explanation of how governments could provide water sustainably is missing, and the health and financial benefits are asserted more than explored. The example illustrates access to water, but could be linked more explicitly to why the supply should be free. Developing these points and acknowledging practical considerations would make the argument more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Ideas generally progress from the problem of water scarcity to the benefits of free provision, and the village example is placed in a relevant paragraph. You also use linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore” and “For instance.” At times, however, these transitions feel mechanical, and some connections are unclear. For example, “as will as they have access to clean water” does not clearly express the relationship between scarcity and access, while the long sentence beginning “In 2018” combines several stages of the example. Use clearer referencing and divide complex sequences into shorter sentences to improve the flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “water scarcity,” “financial assistance,” “clean water” and “financial conditions,” so the reader can follow the main argument. There are also attempts to use more specific language in the village example, such as “concrete water tank.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: “warld,” “strugles,” “lees” and “stablize” are examples. Some phrases are also unnatural, including “save the finace of individuals” and “build more healthy public.” Work on accurate spelling, word forms and natural collocations, and avoid repeating “clean water” where a precise alternative such as “safe drinking water” would fit.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “when public recieve clean water for free this will lead to improve their health” and a longer example describing the water tank. This shows some range, but control is uneven: several sentences contain errors in verb forms, agreement, articles or sentence construction. For instance, “I am agree” needs a different verb pattern, and “this process also save” does not agree with its subject. The sentence beginning “In 2018” is difficult to manage because several clauses are joined together. Practise building accurate complex sentences, checking subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, and punctuating long sentences so each relationship is clear.
