Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, the fresh water not available easily due to water pollution and many heath issues born which cause by this unhealthy water. Every person have a right to drink clean water. Also residents should have a water intake without any charges. I completely agree with it because if individuals drink purified water then they live more and not effect with any disease which cause by dirty water. Furthermore, families spend a large amount of money to buy to fulfill their needs which effect their other needs undirectly.
Firstly, most of the issue happen with health just because of unpurified water because it contain harmful bacterias. Factries waste discharge in rivers and open land which obsarbs it. Un fortunately we consume that water through food and drinks because they use this water in it. In recent research scientist found almost one third population of world take harmful water even some places residents did'nt have access to any type of water they travell long to find it.
On the other side, homes offenly buy water from private companies and they charge significant amount for this. In most area of the world this has transform into proper business. For example, in karachi the tanker business grow they collect public water which is the property of cities residents and sell it to public most expensive and this also effect those people who are not able to buy this paid water then they move toward normal sources.
In conclusion, water is the natural item which hit by different considerable issues such as humans not able to drink clean water and many persons buy this which directly cause many considerable issues in the form of health and their wealth.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that households should receive clean water without charge, and you give relevant reasons concerning health and the cost of buying water. The discussion of contaminated water and the Karachi tanker trade helps connect your argument to real consequences. However, the response does not fully examine the proposal that every home should receive a free supply: it focuses more on access to safe drinking water and private water sales than on how a free household supply should work or why it is justified as a right. The health argument is also asserted more than explained, and the research claim is vague. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a specific, credible example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present health and financial arguments, and a conclusion returns to the topic. Sequencing words such as “Firstly” and “On the other side” help signal the shift between points. However, some links are mechanical or unclear, and the second body paragraph’s opening does not clearly contrast with the first. Within the health paragraph, the movement from factory waste to food and drinks and then to a research claim needs clearer explanation. The conclusion repeats broad concerns rather than drawing the two arguments together. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main claim, then connect supporting details explicitly and use pronouns or references with clear antecedents.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “water pollution,” “harmful bacteria,” “private companies,” and “tanker business,” which allows the reader to follow the main concerns. There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “significant amount” and “access.” However, word choice and spelling errors are noticeable and sometimes make meaning less clear: “fresh water not available easily,” “health issues born,” and “normal sources” are not natural or precise in context. Several expressions are repeated, particularly references to “issues” and “water.” Build a more accurate range of collocations for this topic and check spelling carefully. For example, describe water as “readily available,” health problems as “develop,” and unsafe supplies as “contaminated water.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if individuals drink purified water then they live more,” and you use clauses to explain causes. However, control is uneven, especially in longer sentences, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “Every person have,” “it contain,” and “this also effect,” where subject–verb agreement or verb form is incorrect. Articles and sentence construction also need attention, as in “the fresh water not available easily.” Some sentences join several ideas without clear punctuation, particularly the sentence beginning “Factries waste discharge.” Practise accurate agreement, verb forms, and complete sentence patterns, then proofread longer sentences for clear clause boundaries.
