Student answer (Band 6.0)

Acess to clean water is a basic human right. Moreover water supply in every home should be totally free. I pertially agree with the opinion. Government should provide clean water to their people but there should be a moderate or minimum charge for the water supply. It totally depends on the countries economy and their financial condition.

First of all every person must have acess to clean water. About 50 to 60 percent of our body is made with water. Additionally we need water for all the necessary households. Therefore, Every person should have clean water supply to their home.

Government should provide clean water to every houde hold in the entire country. Acessing to clean decreases many water related disease, For example: direa. colera, tifoed, hepatytis, and many more.

Moreover, if we talk about the charge, it totally depends on the countries micro and macro economy. If majority of countries people are underpriviledged, then government should provide them clean water for free of cost. It will improve their social and economic condition and also and prevent many disease. Consequently, if the majority of people are economically wealthy then government should charge them for providing clean water. Because providing clean water to all the houses has a large amount of cost and government had to deal with it. They can atleast have a moderate and minimum charge for the water supply. If government dont charge minimum prople will use water uncountbly that can lead to missuse. As we all know that water is a limited natural resource.

In conclution, we people must acess to clean water, but government should charge them according to their nations peoples economic condition. We all should use water conciously because of its limitation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

Your position is clear: you partly agree, arguing that everyone should receive clean water but that charges should depend on a country’s economic circumstances. You address both access and payment, and the examples of water-related illnesses help explain why access matters. The discussion of affordability and the cost of supplying water is also relevant. This meets the task well, though some points are more fully explained than others: the health argument is supported with examples, while the claim that wealthier populations should pay is asserted rather than explored. To strengthen the response further, explain how a basic free allowance or targeted support could balance the right to water with the cost of providing it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable progression: it states your position, explains the need for clean water, considers who should pay, and ends with a conclusion. Paragraphing generally helps separate these stages, and linking expressions such as “First of all,” “Moreover,” and “Consequently” guide the reader. However, some connections feel mechanical, and the shift from the health benefits of access to the economic argument could be made more explicit. The long paragraph beginning “Moreover, if we talk about the charge” contains several distinct points—poverty, public costs, and waste—so dividing it or using clearer transitions would improve cohesion. Also clarify references such as “them” in “government should charge them,” which could refer to people or households.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “basic human right,” “water-related disease,” “financial condition,” and “limited natural resource.” These choices make your main ideas understandable, and you attempt some more specific terms when discussing economic circumstances. However, spelling errors are frequent and noticeable, including “Acess,” “pertially,” “houde hold,” and “conclution.” Some word combinations are also unnatural, such as “made with water,” “accessing to clean,” and “free of cost.” These issues limit the precision and naturalness of your vocabulary, even though the overall message remains clear. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations as complete phrases, such as “access to clean water” and “water-related illnesses.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If majority of countries people are underpriviledged, then government should provide them clean water.” This shows an effort to express relationships between economic conditions and policy. Some grammatical errors remain, however, particularly with articles, agreement, and sentence construction. For example, “Government should provide clean water to their people” needs clearer agreement and article use, while “if the majority of people are economically wealthy then government should charge them” is missing punctuation around the introductory clause. The sentence beginning “Because providing clean water…” is a fragment, and “government had to deal with it” shifts tense unnecessarily. Review articles, subject–verb agreement, and complete sentence boundaries to improve control.
