Student answer (Band 5.5)
Access to purified and clean water is a basic human rights. Therefore every home should have a free water supply facility from authorities, that is provided free of charge. I completely agree with this view because, drinking a good and purified water is essential for people and for non-human beings, because it helps to maintain the health and free from diseases, and providing a free water supply by government is really helpful for individuals including poor people, plants and animals.
Nowadays, Water is a basic necessity for everyone to survive in this contemporary world, without water you cant survive and also we need fresh water for drinking including for other purposes. In addition, authorities providing a free water supply to everyone for use in washing clothes, cleaning household utensils, for bathing and also the main thing to drink fresh water and its a basic human right to access this. Firstly, reason is some individuals cant afford to buy electronic devices like Aqua guard called water purifier that provides you a lifetime fresh water for drinking so they prefer to drink from the tap water which provide by Municipal government corporation. Another reason is, most of the peoples dont have borewell water purifier system in their house that providing you a clean water from drinking like, its coming under the ground with the help of motor so this type of technology system most of the humans dont have so thats why they rely on authorities, because they providing a good water facility in every home, but we have to just follow the rules of government like we dont have to waste more water. Instead of wasting water we can give it to plants and animals for better growth of environment.
To conclude, drinking clean water is a right for every human and non-human things like plants and animals, because they also need to drink fresh water like humans. In my opinion, government should promote more free water facilites like, providing a water purified system technology in every society like with fix a time limit on it ,so no one can misuse the water and enjoy the water facility and use the water for their benenficial. Water is life for every human and Non-human beings.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the opening: “I completely agree,” and the conclusion restates that clean water should be accessible to everyone. You give relevant reasons, especially that people who cannot afford purification equipment may depend on municipal supplies, and you mention water’s importance for health and daily household use. This addresses the question, but some points are less fully developed than others. The discussion shifts between free household water, access to purifiers, and water for plants and animals, without clearly explaining why the entire supply should be free or how this could be managed. Develop one or two central reasons with a specific example and keep the focus on the human right and the proposed free provision.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a body paragraph giving reasons, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “In addition,” “Firstly,” “Another reason,” and “To conclude” help signal the direction of the argument. However, the body paragraph contains several different points in one long sequence, so the progression becomes difficult to follow. Some links are mechanical, and references such as “this type of technology system” and “they” are not always precise. The conclusion also introduces a new proposal about installing purification systems and setting time limits. To improve, separate the main reasons into focused paragraphs, use clearer references, and ensure the conclusion summarises rather than adds a new argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “basic necessity,” “purified,” “municipal,” and “misuse,” and you attempt to express ideas about health, affordability, and public provision. This gives you an adequate range for the task, but several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or repetitive. For example, “a basic human rights” is not a natural phrase, “water supply facility” is awkward, and “non-human things” is imprecise. Repeated use of “free water supply,” “fresh water,” and “water facility” also limits flexibility. Choose more natural topic-specific expressions, such as “access to safe drinking water” and “public water supply,” and check spelling in words such as “facilities” and “beneficial.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including explanations linked with “because” and “so,” and the main argument is generally understandable. However, some sentence structures are overloaded, which leads to errors in agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “a basic human rights” has a singular/plural mismatch, while “the tap water which provide” needs a verb agreeing with “water.” The opening sentence also has an unnecessary comma before “that,” and several sentences join multiple ideas without clear punctuation. There are also missing apostrophes in contractions such as “cant” and “dont.” Aim for shorter, controlled sentences, then check subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries before adding more complex clauses.
