Student answer (Band 5.0)
Clean water is a basic human right is a conyroversial problem today . i strongly believe that the clean water is a buasic human right . this essay will explain why i agree or disagree thid prespective
The primary reason for my opinion is the clean water is the basic problem in human right because clean is play important role in human life . clean water is important for health . some causes through bad water such as allergy ,heart deases and many others .
Another key argument is the clean water is a basic human right so the governments need to work on clean water for humans life . in urban countries peoples buy the water . i thought that governments of urban countries need to work on the filter plants of water and provide the clean water to every homes . provide the water supply free to the all houses which cann,t bear the water expense
In conclusion i firmly agree and disagree that the clean water is basic human rights . beacuse if goverments provide the clean water to human . they saves many life and protect from the diffrent deseaces such as allergy , astma and many other serious deseaces . althought if the clean water is provided to human they live their live comfortably for cooking , showering , cleaning and washing . the benefits from the clean water is free provided to homes the increasing of deseaces . it will be appear to discreasing and if the governments provide water with the charges then the living peoples cann,t afford the money to buy the water and many deseaces will increase and many peoples affected through this deseaces .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a relevant response and state that you support access to clean water, with reasons linked to health and affordability. The points about preventing illness and helping households that cannot afford water are appropriate. However, your position becomes unclear: the introduction says you agree or disagree, and the conclusion says “I firmly agree and disagree.” The task asks whether every home should receive water free of charge, but your discussion does not clearly distinguish the right to clean water from whether the supply should be free for all households. Develop a consistent position and explain who should pay, using a specific example or a clearer comparison of the benefits and costs. This would make the response more fully address the question rather than relying on repeated general claims.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “The primary reason” and “Another key argument” help identify the main points. However, the progression is difficult to follow because ideas are repeated and connections between them are not always clear. For example, the second body paragraph moves from governments’ responsibility to people buying water, then to filter plants and free provision without explaining how these points fit together. The conclusion also repeats several health and affordability claims rather than drawing them together. Organise each body paragraph around one clear reason, explain it in sequence, and use linking phrases to show cause and result. Clearer paragraph development and more precise referencing would improve the overall flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “basic human right,” “water supply,” “governments,” and “filter plants,” so the reader can identify the subject and your main concerns. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling and collocation errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “clean is play important role,” “urban countries,” and “the increasing of deseaces.” Repetition of “clean water,” “human,” and “deseaces” also limits precision. Aim to learn accurate topic phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise expressions for public responsibility, affordability and health effects would help you explain your ideas clearly without repeating the same basic vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a conditional idea about what may happen if water is charged for. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences hard to follow. For example, “the clean water is the basic problem in human right” has an unclear sentence structure, while “they saves many life” has subject–verb agreement and plural errors. Articles and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in “clean water is important for health . some causes…” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses using “because,” “if” and “which.” Check agreement, articles, plurals and punctuation when editing.
