Student answer (Band 5.0)
I believe that, clean water is a basic human right because we need clean water for drinking either making food or for shower we always want a neat and clean water for all basic needs. Therefore every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge. But, in my country water supply is not free if you want a clean water you have to contact with water tanker and than after they will come water tanker truck. Moreover, you have a 1000 litre of water tanker bucket you can fill the water for the one week or two weeks. It is only for food making water or shower not as a drinking water. However, if you want a drinking water you have to contact with jar bottle that is twenty litres of jar and they ask you how many jar bottle you wants if you have two, three jar bottles you can tell them they will come and you could drink a water from jar bottle it's a purify water. I disagree of this water supply that is not provided free of charge they take a money it's not totally free it is cost of supply water. On the other hand, in my country this is not free of charge you have to pay for supply water and that is really too expensive how you can offord that much of expensive water supply because you want clean or purify water. Approximtaely, people are purchase a purify water supply in home like aqaguard filter that you can dirty water they are give you a fully purify water no any germs in the water fresh water that you can drink. Last but not least, i hope this type os supply water are free of charge that government should get to totally free too not take any charges aither we not have to get pay for the water supply.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You take a position by saying you disagree with charging for water, and your examples of tanker deliveries, drinking-water jars and home filters are relevant to the issue. However, the response only partially develops the argument: much of it describes how water is obtained in your country, rather than explaining why every household should receive a free supply or how this could be funded. Your position also becomes difficult to follow when you first repeat that every home should have free water, then say “I disagree of this water supply,” without clearly distinguishing disagreement with paid provision from disagreement with the proposal. State your position precisely and support it with a few developed reasons. The response meets the required length; 14 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response contains a recognisable sequence: it introduces clean water as a basic need, describes local supply arrangements, and ends with a hope that the government will make water free. However, ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and the progression is difficult to follow because several points are joined into long strings. For example, the explanation of tanker water and jar water runs together, while “Moreover,” “However,” and “On the other hand” do not always signal a clear contrast or addition. The conclusion also repeats the call for free water rather than drawing the argument together. Group the reasons into separate paragraphs, use clearer topic sentences, and make each linking phrase match the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “water supply,” “purify water,” “basic needs,” and “government,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “water supply” and “free of charge.” Some word choices and collocations make meaning less clear, such as “water tanker bucket,” “a jar bottle,” and “cost of supply water.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-form errors, including “offord,” “Approximtaely,” and “purify” used where “purified” is needed. Build a more precise set of expressions for water access and household costs, and check spelling and natural combinations of words when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to connect ideas with clauses and conjunctions, as in “because we need clean water” and “if you want a drinking water,” but most sentences rely on simple patterns or become long and difficult to control. Frequent errors in articles, agreement, verb forms and sentence construction affect clarity. Examples include “a clean water,” “the water they are give you,” and “people are purchase”; the final sentence also combines several ideas without a clear grammatical structure. Punctuation is inconsistent, with commas separating clauses that need full stops or clearer sentence boundaries. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled complex structures, checking subject–verb agreement, articles and verb forms.
