Student answer (Band 5.0)
Clean water is a basic human necessity and every home should have its supply without any extra paying. I firmly agree with this viewpoint because of poverty, incovinience and for a healthy life.
On one hand, although, human body is 90% dependent on water, climate change is risking the amount of water existing on earth. There are millions of people who are suffering to manage their foods and if they don't have free access to drinking water this can leads them towards stress and anxiety.
Clean water should be provided by the goverment all over the country and each home should be connected with the right supply without any charge. There are people who can not manage to go and bring water by themselves which might cause difficulty for peopel to have water.
On the other hand, if the goverment is charging for water supply there are certain problems with the severage system which automatically connected with the water and though the water feels dirty and comes with foil smell.
The authoroties should improve their system and for aconomic growth they can charge a minimum amount as a tax so this can also improve the countries financial health.
To sum up, clean water should not be limited to some areas but its supply should be connected to every home withouth extra cost or with a minimum charge.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear general position in the opening—“I firmly agree”—and return to the idea that water should reach every home in the conclusion. You also raise relevant concerns about poverty and access. However, the response only partially develops the task: the discussion of climate change, stress and anxiety is not clearly connected to why household water should be free, and the paragraph about sewerage introduces a problem without explaining how it supports your position. The suggestion that governments may charge a minimum tax also makes your stance less definite. The response is 23 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to explain and support your reasons. Develop two clear arguments with specific examples and clarify whether any charge is acceptable.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your response has an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “On one hand,” “On the other hand” and “To sum up” help the reader recognise the structure. However, the overall progression is not consistently clear. The first body paragraph moves from human dependence on water to climate change and then to food and anxiety, without showing how these points connect. The sewerage paragraph also shifts from charging for water to dirty water without a clear explanation of the relationship. Some linking phrases are used mechanically, and “On one hand” is not balanced by a clearly developed opposing argument. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then use explanation and an example to show how it supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “clean water,” “free access,” “water supply,” “sewerage system” and “financial health.” This gives the response a basic range suited to the subject. However, the vocabulary is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning unclear. For example, “without any extra paying” is not a natural expression, while “manage their foods” does not clearly convey the intended idea. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “incovinience,” “goverment,” “peopel” and “authoroties.” Aim to use precise phrases such as “afford basic necessities” and “household water supply,” and check spelling carefully. More accurate topic-specific language would make your arguments easier to follow.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional clause in “if they don't have free access” and a relative clause in “people who can not manage to go and bring water.” Your main ideas are generally understandable, but errors recur in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction. For instance, “this can leads them” should use the base verb after “can,” and “human body is 90% dependent” needs an article and a more accurate grammatical construction. The sentence beginning “On the other hand, if the government is charging…” is also difficult to follow because its clauses are not connected clearly. Practise building accurate complex sentences and check subject–verb agreement, articles and punctuation before submitting.
