Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You identify water as essential and give relevant reasons, including drinking and hygiene, so the response is connected to the topic. However, the central question is whether every home should receive water free of charge, and this position is not clearly stated or explained. The opening calls free provision “an appreciating approach,” but does not establish whether you agree or why. The discussion then focuses on water’s importance rather than who should pay, how free supply could work, or possible limitations. The hygiene point is also unfinished. The response is substantially below the required length, leaving the task only minimally addressed. State your position directly, develop two reasons with examples, and consider a counterargument before concluding.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction is followed by points about health and hygiene. This gives the reader some sense of organisation, and transitions such as “Therefore” and “Similarly” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, there is no clear overall progression toward an answer about free provision, and the paragraphs mainly list benefits of water rather than build an argument. The final sentence, “Similarly, we wash our hand,” is incomplete, which interrupts the flow. Some linking is mechanical, and the relationship between the opening claim and the later points is not fully explained. Organise the essay around a clear position, use each paragraph to develop one reason, and complete the hygiene example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “basic rights,” “essential,” “sanitation,” and “healthy body,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts difficult to understand. For example, “availavity” appears to mean “availability,” while “dryhidated” seems intended to be “dehydrated”; “gems” is likely meant to be “germs.” The phrase “Water provides free to citizen” is also not a natural way to express the idea. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing public services and costs, and check spelling and collocations carefully. More precise vocabulary would make your argument clearer and more convincing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You mainly use short, simple sentences, with a few attempts to connect clauses, as in “Without water, it can not posible for us to live one day.” This communicates the basic message, but the range of sentence structures is limited and errors occur frequently. Examples include “Human has” instead of a plural or possessive construction, “Water become” rather than “Water becomes,” and “Water also play” rather than “Water also plays.” The sentence “Similarly, we wash our hand” is unfinished, and punctuation spacing is inconsistent. These problems sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles and plural forms, then combine simple sentences into controlled complex sentences using “because,” “although,” and “if.”
