Student answer (Band 5.5)

Many people believe that the clean water is a basic right og Human begin. Therefore every home should have water supply that is provided free of charge. I totally agree with this statement of free fresh water supply.

On the one hand, the drinking fresh water is every hunam right wheather they are poor or rich there should no charge on water. Because in daily house cores work water is used such as drinking purposes, washing, mopping, planting and food prepration. Fresh waster should be provided to each socities which save them many waterbones dieases. For example, the children living in economically weaker socities are vulenrable to many waterbone health problem. Therefore, providing the basic water supply free from charge improve public health and best for economically weaker communities.

Secondely, providing free water supply reduce the finicial burden of low-inclome houses. Many disadvantages are with the famlilies is that they already going through other finical problems such as food, electricity bills, school fees, medicial bills or medicial emergyency. Other people's who is living in the rural areas have no great source of income and fewer reliable water sources.

Therefore, basic free water supply build the social equality and also effect the public health and pockets.

In conclusion, In my opinion, i completely agree with the free supply of water to the public. As this solve many problems such as public health, the people who are economical weaker or no source of income and they don't feel preasure to make another share from there income.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you state that you “totally agree” and return to this view in the conclusion. You give relevant reasons, including public health and the financial pressure on low-income households, and the examples of children in poorer communities and rural residents help connect the argument to the topic. However, the ideas are only partly developed. For instance, you mention waterborne diseases but do not explain how free provision would ensure safe, clean water, and the point about rural areas having fewer reliable sources needs further explanation. The response is also 246 words, four words below the 250-word minimum; the eight words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation or specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, a brief summary, and a conclusion. The sequence from health benefits to financial benefits is sensible, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” show how the points relate. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow. The opening “On the one hand” suggests a contrast, but no opposing side follows, and “Therefore” is used repeatedly without always making the relationship between ideas clear. The sentence about rural residents is added to the financial paragraph but is not fully connected to the claim about household costs. Use more precise links and develop each paragraph around one clearly explained reason.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “public health,” “financial burden,” “rural areas,” and “social equality,” which helps communicate your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “waterbones dieases,” “famlilies,” and “finical problems.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “make another share from there income” and “provided free from charge.” Aim to use accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; these errors are noticeable enough to affect clarity. Building a small set of precise expressions for water access, household costs, and health impacts would make your argument more fluent and exact.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “Because” and a relative clause in “the children living in economically weaker societies.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. For example, “there should no charge on water” is missing a verb, while “providing the basic water supply free from charge improve public health” has a subject–verb agreement error. The final sentence also contains several clauses joined without clear grammatical structure. Practise forming complete sentences and checking verb agreement, articles, and clause boundaries. More accurate control of these patterns would make your reasons easier to understand.
