Student answer (Band 5.0)

These days, drinking clean water is necessary for basic people need. However,is it temporary that every home should have a water supply which is free of charge.I strongly agree with this statement.

At first, the clean water is basic right of people everywhere around the world. For example, when the people have access of drinking water which is provided by government and water authority this helps people to keeps healthy. This is the main reason people is hygenic and clean. On the other hand, moslty people have no excess to clean water because of lack of resources and no attention of government. For instance, the people in Africa has no access toward clean water because nobody wants to care such type of people. In addition, all human right organization considers that clean water is the basic of life.

To commense with,it is necessary for every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge. For example, the government and local authorities will make guide line such as,fix clean tape in commercial buildings and also make clean water plant across the city which provided every home clean water supply. Therefore, many other precaution measure will take such as,create awareness in people and also make them healthy which is beneficial for their health.

In conclusion,i strongly agree that clean water is the fundamental right of people because clean watewr keeps people healthy and people enjoy several social benefits such as good health care and no permenant disease so i agree with this point of view.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

Your position is clear: you strongly agree that clean water should be provided free, and you give relevant reasons about health and access. However, the response addresses the task only partially because the supporting ideas are brief and sometimes unclear. For example, the claim that people in Africa lack clean water is not developed with a specific explanation or example, and the proposed actions—installing taps and building water plants—are not clearly connected to how every home would receive a free supply. The response is also 22 words below the 250-word minimum; the 13 words copied from the prompt were not counted. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its basic structure. You also use linking expressions such as “For example,” “In addition” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within the paragraphs is not always clear: the first body paragraph moves from health benefits to lack of access and then to human-rights organisations without explaining the links. Some transitions are mechanical or inaccurate, including “On the other hand” where the contrast is not fully established. Improve the sequence by giving each paragraph one main point, then explaining and illustrating it before moving on. Clearer references to who or what “this” and “they” refer to would also help the ideas connect.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “basic right,” “access,” “government,” “local authorities” and “clean water supply.” This gives you enough language to communicate your main position, but the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand. For instance, “access of drinking water” and “access toward clean water” are not natural combinations, while “clean tape” appears to mean “clean tap.” There are also misspellings such as “moslty,” “commense” and “permenant.” Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing water provision and public health, and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would make your reasons clearer and less repetitive.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “which,” but the range is limited and complex structures are often faulty. Errors occur frequently in sentence construction and agreement: “it is necessary for every home should have” combines incompatible patterns, and “the people in Africa has” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. Other examples include “this helps people to keeps healthy” and “people is hygenic and clean.” Punctuation also needs attention, especially the missing spaces after commas and full stops. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a correctly formed subordinate clause, and check verb forms and agreement before submitting.
