Student answer (Band 5.0)
Clean water is everyone need and its aslo a basic human right. Therefore every home should have a water supply that is provided free of charge. I completely agree on the view that water shoild be free of cost and out of conteminants because of health and environment.
The reason why i agree on the view that sustainable amount of water is basic human need and it should be supplied free of cost because of health reasons as everyone knows that due to contaminated water childrens are porn to diseases and mostly the new born child. Child mortality rates are affected because of polluted water and no amount of regulation are provided, so governments are building filteration tanks in every city to overcome these issues and aid people with clena and clear water. Moreover, fresh and clear water brings lot of advantages to individuals. It brings proseprity and long life and healty environment. For example, in faisalabad water plants are structured and are free of cost to fulfill the needs of clean water supply in homes.
The major reason i support this view that due to prevention of diseases and the extended rain water aslo help in this work in many countries water are not easily avaiable so they find the solution to use rain water as a source of their needs and they build water filteration plants in plenty of places where there is more need and not charges on anyone. Individuals are getting water easily by the pipe line that are constructed underground their homes and drink water without of cost. For instance, many years before polluted water cause water born diseases in childrens so government pass the regulations of finding the solution tthis problem and finally this scheme was passed and now peoples are getting water clean and free of charge.
In conclusion, basic rights are every human need if its water or anything we should have to fullfill the need of our economy and protect our people and environment. In short, government has to pay atttention on the fulfilment of these needs and on basic human rights

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you completely agree that household water should be free, and you give relevant reasons concerning health, access and the environment. The examples of water plants in Faisalabad and rainwater use help connect your argument to practical solutions. However, the response addresses the issue only partially because it does not examine the central question of whether supply should be free in every home—for example, who should pay for treatment and infrastructure, or whether free provision could encourage waste. Several claims, such as that clean water brings “prosperity and long life,” are asserted rather than explained. Develop fewer points in more detail and make the link between each example and your position explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the reader can generally identify your main position. You also use linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “For example” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within the body paragraphs is difficult to follow: health effects, government filtration, rainwater and underground pipelines are combined without a clear sequence. Some connections are repetitive or unclear, particularly the opening of the second body paragraph, “The major reason i support this view that due to prevention of diseases.” References such as “this work” and “this problem” do not always identify a precise idea. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it, using linking phrases only where they show a clear relationship.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “contaminated water,” “child mortality rates,” “filteration plants” and “rain water,” so the reader can recognise the subject and your intended arguments. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, especially “free of cost,” “clean water” and “basic human right.” Frequent spelling errors, including “contaminants,” “available” and “prosperity,” and inaccurate word forms or collocations such as “extended rain water” and “water born diseases” sometimes make the message harder to understand. Aim to learn accurate topic phrases and check spelling carefully. More precise wording will help you explain the costs, provision and health benefits of water without relying on repeated general terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “so,” and you use some sentence variety to explain causes and examples. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction can make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “Child mortality rates are affected because of polluted water and no amount of regulation are provided” combines ideas without a clear grammatical link, while “water are not easily available” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in the repeated lowercase “i.” Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, then check agreement and punctuation.
