Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is fundamental human right to get availabilty of safe and clean water, government should provide water supply to every home without any charges. I stongly agree with this opinion of providing clean water to every home free of cost.Clean water is basic human right so it should e provided.Government should pay off its residents by providing clean water in exchange of the taxes.
At first, clean and drinking water is the need of every home. Everyone needs water for drinking, washing, bathing and other purposes so it is basic need of a human and we can not survive without it, so it should be provided free of cost. For instance, many countries like germany and canada provide clean drinking water to every home free of cost, which mean you get clean drinkable water at your tap. They provide it because they know that it is a basic human need.
The government should provide basic facilities to its residents in exchange of taxes that residents pay. Government almost take 40 percent tax on annual income, so it should be their responsibility to provide some basic human facilities like providing safe and clean water. For example, Germany a well known Euorpion country almost take 45 percent income as tax and they provide clean drinkable water to every home without any cost.
In conclusion, I strongly agree with the opinion of providing clean drinkable water to every human as it is basic human need.It is responsibility of govenment to provide pure harmless water to every home.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the opening and conclusion: you strongly agree that clean water should be supplied to homes free of charge. You give relevant reasons, including water’s necessity for daily life and the idea that taxes should fund basic services, and you add country examples. However, the two main points are not developed equally: the first explains why water is essential, while the tax argument is asserted rather than showing how free household supply could be funded or why charges would be unfair. The examples about Germany and Canada are also presented as facts without explanation or qualification. Develop each reason with a clearer chain of reasoning and a more specific example to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present separate reasons, and a conclusion restates your position. This gives the reader an overall logical route through the argument. Within paragraphs, however, ideas sometimes run together, particularly in the opening, where several claims are joined without clear sentence boundaries. Linking is also somewhat mechanical: phrases such as “At first,” “For instance,” and “For example” signal relationships, but the connection between the tax point and the country example could be made more explicit. Use clearer topic sentences and divide related claims into well-formed sentences; vary transitions and use pronouns or other referencing carefully to avoid repetition.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including “basic human right,” “annual income,” “taxes,” and “safe and clean water.” However, the range is limited by repeated wording such as “clean,” “water,” “provide,” and “basic,” and several choices or forms are inaccurate. For example, “clean and drinking water” is an awkward combination, while “pay off its residents” does not express the intended idea of providing services in return for taxes. Spelling errors such as “availabilty,” “stongly,” “Euorpion,” and “govenment” also make the writing less controlled. Build a wider set of accurate collocations for public services and water access, and proofread spelling and word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a reason clause with “because” and a result structure with “so.” The main meaning is generally understandable, but some errors in sentence boundaries, articles, agreement, and punctuation reduce accuracy. For instance, “It is fundamental human right” needs an article, and “Government almost take 40 percent tax” has problems with the subject and verb form. The opening also joins several independent statements with commas or no punctuation, making the structure difficult to follow. Practise accurate article use and subject–verb agreement, and separate complete ideas with full stops. More controlled complex sentences would help you express the relationships between your reasons clearly.
