Student answer (Band 5.0)
Availability to clean water is a fundamental human right. That's why every house should have a water supply that is provided free of cost. I totally disagree with this view because it requires a large budget for all the cleaning process. Moreover, heavy machinery, large industries and staff are mandatory for all these procedures.
The primary reason is that it needs a lot of equipments, large industries, staff members. Furthermore, these people who work in an industry do not work free of cost. They also require money to cope with living expenses. Moreover, governments do not have enough budget to deal with these situations. So, if every house provides water money then it would be easy for the governments and other companies to provide them clean water at their homes.
The other reason is that it requires huge amount of money to clean the water. Although, 98% of earth consists of water this sea water undergoes different process like testing, cleaning, and packaging and then become clean for drinking. So it would be difficult to provide clean water free of cost. In addition, if the water is not provides free of cost then people do not waste water and use it properly.
In conclusion, although clean water is the necessity for every human being, it requires a lot of money, machinery, industries and staff members for all these processes and it can not be provide free of charge. Also people will not waste water and use it properly.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear position—“I totally disagree”—and provide relevant reasons, including the costs of treatment and the need to pay workers. However, the response only partially develops the argument: the points about government budgets and preventing waste are asserted rather than supported with specific explanation or an example. The claim that households should pay is implied, but the essay could explain how charges might be set while ensuring access for people who cannot afford them. The response also falls short of the required 250 words: 237 words were counted, with 10 words copied from the prompt excluded. Develop your reasons with a concrete example and address the human-rights aspect more directly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the reasons are generally grouped by topic. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore” and “In addition” help signal relationships between points. However, progression is limited because several ideas repeat the same claim about cost, machinery and staff without showing how one point leads to the next. Some connections are also unclear, particularly “if every house provides water money,” which makes the relationship between household payment and government provision difficult to follow. Plan each paragraph around one distinct reason, explain it, and then connect it to the position. Use fewer repeated linkers and make references explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main argument, including “fundamental human right,” “cleaning process,” “living expenses” and “drinking.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, which can make the argument harder to understand. For example, “Availability to clean water” and “provides water money” do not express the intended meanings clearly; “equipments” is also an incorrect plural form. Repetition of “free of cost,” “a lot of money” and “process” limits precision. Build a more varied set of terms for water treatment, public funding and household charges, and check collocations and word forms when revising.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some complex sentences, including the concession beginning “Although 98% of earth consists of water” and the conditional “if the water is not provides free of cost.” These attempts show an effort to vary sentence forms, but errors are frequent and sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “the water is not provides,” “then become clean,” and “it can not be provide,” where verb forms are incorrect. There are also problems with articles and sentence construction, as in “it requires huge amount” and “So, if every house provides water money.” Practise accurate subject–verb patterns and verb forms, then proofread each sentence for a complete, clear structure.
