The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

the map illustrates how has a farm changed between 1950 to the present day.

overall, the form has significantly changed toward modernization. while, the area which used for fruits, soft fruits and Vegetables have largely remains unchanged. Large sheep area converted into camping field with corner parking and in the north-west solar panels also installed with parking area.

As we can see, track has been convert into road. on the other side, many other additions observed as parking, holiday cottage, and parking area. In the north-east side of the map barn area converted into holiday cottage and barn shift to the side of chicken and farmhouse. Although, the farmhouse and and chicken area remains at the same place. If we see toward track which converted into road connect the whole Beechwood farm.

As a whole, major changes observed in the map since 1950 to the present day. Moreover, latest sports added which demand of the time.
