The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.



 

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The provided maps illustrate the transformation of Beechood farm between 1950 and present time.

At a glance, it is evident the track is converted in a fully accessed road, new solar panels are constructed, a couple of new parking and a new farm shop are built.

Initially, the track were the main path of Beechwood farm now the track are converted into an accessed road. Fruit trees, soft fruits, vegetables, farmhouse and chickens remain unchanged. New holiday cottages are made on the same location where previously barn was situated. Two new parking are created one is across the holiday cottages and another is beside the highway. Sheep is completely removed in the place of this there are solar panels and camping field are constructed. Solar panels in the right side of the camping field. A new farm shop is built near the highway across the parking lot. Barn is relocated next to chickens with the access of road.
